Chandigarh University is doing really well and growing rapidly. Being a student of the university, my sister has often appreciated it as the most sought-after educational institute in the region.

Though, I don’t have much data about DAV University so I won’t be speaking much about it. But, I can surely tell you about Chandigarh University (CU).

• Chandigarh University has become the most progressive hub in the Northern part of India.

You can easily opt for Chandigarh University, as it is a respected institution. It is popular both among students and corporate professionals. Many top recruiting companies take part in their placement drives or programs.

CIT Kokrajhar is deemed to be a university that mainly specializes in engineering courses. A friend of mine has done a designing course from CIT and found out that it was very average. Also, the information mentioned by the university is not sufficient. 

You should consider exploring more options if you are interested in pursuing B.Des. There might not be many opportunities for you if you are looking forward to pursuing a designing course at this university.

It is recommended that you prepare for NIFT or NID which are much better options for designing. You can keep CIT as your last option if no other college is suitable.

Design courses are relatively new at Nirma University. Quite naturally, you will have some of the inexperienced faculty. With this, everything comes down to how eventually, there is nothing you can learn from here.

When it comes to Srishti School of Design, it is still better as it is an old and quite a reputed institute. It becomes more reliable in front of the masses' perception. However, the school has been sold off to Manipal University. It is now offering degree programs but in this process, course pattern along with the reputed faculty has been put at stake. They are not as well known as they used to be.

You can instead opt for WUD Sonipat and MIT Pune as both of them are good in terms of quality education. Trust me and look into these institutes as well. Make sure eventually your decision is an informed one.

As far as interior designing is concerned ITM provides better technological and theoretical aspects which help in gaining better knowledge and experience in the field. ITM University is well known for the facilities and exposure it offers for Interior Designing.
