What are the eligibility requirements to get admission into the B.Des program at LPU?
I am a final year BDes. student at LPU. The university offers a BDes. degree in several specializations. These are-
- Fashion Design
- Graphics
- Interior and Furniture
- Game Design
- Multimedia
- Product and Industrial
- User Experience Design
- Film and TV Production
The eligibility criteria for admission into BDes. program at LPU is-
- The candidate must pass their 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks (with English as a core subject).
- The candidate must qualify any of the following exams-
- LPUNEST or CUET or UCEED or Under Graduate NID DAT (Prelims) or Under Graduate NIFT or NIFT B.FTech.
- The condition for English as a compulsory subject may be waived off, given the candidate has studied their +2 or equivalent in English medium or with an equivalent subject.
- For the minimum percentage requirement, 5% relaxation is awarded to candidates from North-East states/Sikkim/ Defence personnel and their dependents/ wards of kashmiri migrants.
- For sports relaxation, a committee will be formed consisting of- Head DSW (Chairperson), 2. Director Sports (Member), Dy. Director Sports (Member), Concerned Coach (Expert), DQA nominee (Member).
This is the eligibility criteria for Indian students to get admission into B.Des at LPU.
How is the interior design course at LPU?
LPU offers two undergraduate programs in interior design. These are-
- B.Sc. (Design - Interior and Furniture)
- B.Design (Interior and Furniture)

What is the admission process for enrolment into B. Des (Humanising Technology) program?
Step 1: Visit www.npat.in to Register for the NMIMS- NPAT 2020 Entrance Test + Design Aptitude
Section (DAS)
Step 2: The student must complete the Registration process by filling in the Design Form
Step 3: The final selection will be done on the basis of score obtained in NPAT, students will be called for a school-level entrance. The school level entrance will compromises of the following:
a.) Studio test (Creative problem solving)
b.) Personal Interview and Portfolio Review
What is eligibility criteria for admission in B.Des. in MIT-WPU?
The Candidate should have passed 10+2 from Science, Commerce, Arts & Humanities etc. (HSC, CBSE, ICSE, IB Diploma (of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva, Switzerland), IGCSE (University of Cambridge) or their equivalent as can be stated/or established by Association of Indian Universities(AIU), www.aiuweb.org)) securing aggregate 50% marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only). Candidates who have their 10+2 results pending will be provisionally admitted subject to furnishing the certificates when available.
What will be the cancellation policy for B.Des. program in MIT-WPU?
Cancellation Policy
- Candidate shall apply for cancellation in due format available with MIT – WPU and submit signed copy of application in person or send through email mentioned in the Application Form to the concerned Head of School/Department of MIT –WPU
- After receiving an admission cancellation request from the candidate, the Head of the concerned school/department of MIT –WPU shall recommend the case and forward the case to the Registrar through the Dean, Admissions for canceling the admission immediately. The admissions section shall give the acknowledgement of cancellation of admission to the student and a copy of the same will be sent to the concerned school for records.

How is B.Des at MIT ID different from B.Des at MIT WPU?
MIT ID is a different University than MIT WPU. This difference is reflected in the different course structures of their B.Des program. This course structure is available on the website of each University.
