How good is Manipal University, Jaipur, regarding food, hostel, professors, facilities, cultural activities, students, and placements?
Manipal University is a very famous and reputed university. One of my friends studied there and everything is good
from food, hostels, placements, and faculty.
- The faculty of this university is great. Most of the professors are very knowledgeable and experienced and helpful towards the students.
- The hostel is also very good as the rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are attached to the rooms. It also has a centralized AC too.
- The mess food here is also very good and in comparison to other top universities.
- There are also other options available for food like Pizza Hut which is available inside the campus.
- The university also has various clubs like dance and music club, green club, and acting club for cultural activities.
- There are other facilities available like wifi routers all over the campus and a gym is available too with all the latest equipment.

How is life at NIT Raipur? How are freshers treated? What is the scenario of ragging? What about hostel, mess food and seniors?
NIT Raipur is a good college and one can definitely opt for this college. The infrastructure is very good with all facilities like wifi, laboratories, library, common rooms, etc are available.
- The campus placements are also good enough especially for computer science students where they get placed in many top companies.
- It has a good environment where you can learn many things besides academics and improve your soft skills too.
- The course curriculum is nice and the faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable in their subjects.
- Freshers are treated very well in this college and the seniors are very helpful too. They are friendly and help in academics by teaching important topics and helping to complete the assignments.
NIT Raipur is completely free of ragging as it is strictly prohibited in this college and there are certain rules to stop ragging in college. There are also some officers assigned to take care of the freshers and prevent ragging inside the campus.
The hostel scenario is not up to the mark. You will get a room based on your JEE rank and in some cases, students don't even get a room and they have to stay outside of the college. The mess food is also not that good and the quality gets degrading day by day. So life at the hostel wouldn't be good if you expected something great.
How is the crowd at NMIMS Mumbai vs that at SIMSREE?
When considering MBA colleges in India, Sydenham (SIMSREE) should definitely be on your list. It is one of the most underrated colleges and has several advantages over more popular colleges like NMIMS.
First, let's look at the ROI. Sydenham has a median CTC above 10 LPA and the total course fee is only 1.4 lakhs. This makes it a great investment, especially since it's the only government institute in Maharashtra that offers an MBA. And for category students, there is almost no course fee!

How is life, studies, facilities, hostel, etc., at PGIMS Rohtak?
PGIMS Rohtak is an amazing choice in terms of campus life, academics, facilities, and hostel. It’s known to have some of the most talented faculty members. Their teaching modules are unique. The labs are well-equipped and the practical classes are quite intriguing. Students learn something new every day.
Regular seminars and competitions are organized to implement the theoretical knowledge of the students. ARMSCON, a national-level conference, is organized every year in mid-October.
PGIMS has a huge campus with excellent sports facilities. There is also provision of hostel and mess facilities but don’t raise your expectations high.
Overall, life at PGIMS Rohtak is pretty good although you might have to adjust a bit.
What is the student life like at NIT Surathkal?
One of my cousins shared his experience of life at NIT Surathkal. Here are some highlights of his delightful experience.
- It’s not very difficult to maintain a good CGPA at NIT Surathkal provided that you attend the tests and exams regularly.
- Boys have almost no time restrictions and they can roam around the campus even late at night.
- Your wingmates become your best friends. They become a group with whom you hang out, have lunch, study, and share your life problems with.
- The mess food is hardly edible so most students eat at NC or Night Canteen beyond midnight. NC gets crowded during late-night football matches.
- You can join clubs and connect with like-minded people. They provide the right platform to grow technically and socialize.
- Students visit the temple and also sit next to the beach for hours on the weekend enjoying the peaceful and serene view. This is a great stress buster from daily activities.
So, NIT Surathkal offers an excellent campus life which is a blend of both freedom and academics. You can enjoy the freedom and maintain a good GPA with minimal effort.
How is life and placement at BIT Sindri?
Life at BIT Sindri is considered to be of an average standard, being an engineering college. There are several shortcomings about being in BIT Sindri which turns out to be a disadvantage during the course.
The following points state a few facts about life and placements at BIT Sindri, which are the opinions of almost every student.
- The overall experience in BIT Sindri consists of a learning atmosphere that is largely dependent on the student himself.
- BIT Sindri doesn’t provide that so-called college life, which is generally expected from engineering colleges in India.
- In BIT Sindri, there is a shortage of resources, modern facilities, lab equipment, etc.
Placements
- The placement in BIT Sindri has a decreasing standard in recent years and is not in a good position at present.
- In branches like CSE/IT, BIT Sindri is far behind the standards of IITs, NITs, or any other good institute in India.
- Core branches like Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy, etc have the same PSU culture as good NITs and IITs, so they are still in a better position.
- There are several BIT Sindri alumni currently settled with a government job.

There are students who consider their life at BIT Sindri to be as glorious as expected, with several memories and campus stories. The government is taking a lot of initiatives to regain the glory of BIT Sindri, which is a positive aspect at present.

AIIMS Patna is one of the prestigious medical institutes in India established in 2012. AIIMS Patna is among the top choices to pursue MBBS in India owing to its brand name and repute in the country being an Institute of National Importance. The institute is centrally funded and thus has top-notch academics, infrastructure, and facilities to offer to its students. How is the Life of a MBBS student at MAMC Delhi?
MAMC Delhi is one of the most prestigious medical colleges of India and offers an excellent campus life to its MBBS students. Although the authorities will claim its a rigging free college, the reality is you will have to entertain the seniors to a certain extent. There have been instances when juniors have been asked to dance and sing for their seniors. Some might be banned from the library for being a nerd. However, never let your guard down, and always maintain your dignity.
The food is very cheap and tasty. The Nescafe Point serves a variety of snacks and coffees and many other delicacies can be bought from the Departmental Canteen. The college has no caste-based discrimination and there is excellent harmony between the peers. You won't face any major language issues here irrespective of whichever part of India you hail from.
The schedule isn't very hectic and students are given a 15-day break for Christmas and New Year. There are enough holidays to plan trips or visit home occasionally.
How was your first year AIIMS Bhubaneswar experience?
AIIMS Bhubaneswar offers a wonderful experience to its students. The 1st year is filled with new challenges. A close friend of mine had some memorable experiences during his MBBS first year at AIIMS Bhubaneswar:
- As one enters the campus,one sees the impressive and magnificent hospital building
- The academic schedule is extremely busy. By the time one makes sense of our prescribed texts, the syllabus has been completed
- My friend would go to bed by midnight and had to start his day by 6:30 am
- The freshers experience certain forms of limitations on freedom while on campus. Therefore, they prefer to have fun outside the campus and explore Bhubaneswar City
- Eventually, the limitations are lifted and students start to make deeper bonds with seniors on campus
- First-year students study more and have fun to a lesser extent
Despite all the challenges of getting used to a completely new environment, my friend thoroughly enjoyed his first year at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
How is mess food in NIT Patna?
I have a female friend at NIT Patna and from what I heard from here, the food served in the mess is satisfactory. Students are offered a variety of dishes but the food tastes decent.
Breakfast is the best meal with a different dish served every day. Some days it's Chole Batoore, while on other days it's Poha or Aaloo Paratha. Students are also given milk, a boiled egg, and an omelet for breakfast occasionally.
Lunch and dinner mainly comprise dal, roti, vegetables, salads, pickle, kheer, and Suzi ka halwa. The type of vegetable and dal vary everyday. I am also attaching a few pics of the lunch she ate during her time at NIT Patna.
In the evening students are given snacks such as tea and biscuits. Weekends bring in specialties like fish and chicken.
