How is your experience at KIIT?
Initially, KIIT was a backup plan for me. I thought that because I couldn’t get into the IITs or BITS, I wouldn’t make a good engineer. KIIT completely changed my perception with its teaching methodology. I have grown immense confidence over here.
One of my teachers at KIIT guides me on the various opportunities that lie ahead for me. He also gives me valuable guidance on how I can become the best version of myself. We receive every tip and all the facilities that are needed to become a successful engineer. I feel that this is the place that I always needed.
KIIT has an Institute of Eminence(IoE) tag. One of my seniors got placed in his dream company, Robert Bosch.
Another published a paper in IEEE under her professor. An alumnus told me about the semester exchange program in Taiwan, the benefits of which he is reaping in his professional life.
There are various extracurricular activities at KIIT. There are societies, fests, seminars, workshops, etc. which help with our personality development.
KIIT is a very good choice to pursue your studies.
Which engineering college in Bangalore has the best placement for students?
Getting placed at a Bangalore engineering college is a great deal for any student. You should search for placement recruit post-graduate positions on the internet and you will get to see the workforce of each engineering college and how many graduates are there in that engineering college. This will help you in understanding the placement percentage of the students.
Some of the colleges which offer good placements are as follows.
- R V College of Engineering: This College has got a huge campus, great infrastructure, best placements, top students, good teachers.
- PES Institute of Technology: You will also find good placement in this college.
- MSRamaih Institute of Technology: This college is also good in terms of placements.
- BM Sreenivasiah College of Engineering: This college is very similar to RVCE but the placements are a little low as compared to RVCE.
- HKBK Group of institutions: This is also a very good college with 94% placements in the year 2019. The highest package was 18 LPA and the average package was 6.9 LPA.

NIT Raipur hasn’t released the placement figures for 2023 as of yet.
During 2022, from B.Tech IT, 91 students were eligible for placements and 85 were placed. From B.Tech CSE, 87 students were eligible and 78 were placed.
For B.Tech IT, the highest package was INR 57.5 LPA, and the average package was INR 17.87 LPA.
For B.Tech CSE, the highest package was INR 55 LPA, and the average package was INR 15.86 LPA. Amazon, Infosys, and Adobe were some of the top brands that visited the campus during the placement season.
The placements are good for CSE, IT, and circuit branches, and average for the other branches.
What is the placement scene at DTU civil engineering?
DTU Civil Engineering is one of the highly regarded civil departments in India with decent placements and opportunities. Here are a few points that will convince you further to join this branch
- DTU Civil Engineering has a relatively easier syllabus in comparison to other branches. You can maintain a high CGPA and even make it into IIMs. You will also have better opportunities than students in non-core companies.
- The light syllabus gives you enough time to prepare for IES/GATE examination and secure excellent government jobs.
- Civil Engineering at DTU has decent placements and this year the average package offered was INR 8.845 LPA. If you have a decent CGPA and communication skills, you can easily secure a package in the range of 5-7 lakhs.
- Among other future aspects of this program, you can also pursue MS from Stanford as there is very less competition compared to computer science.
- Although your package will be inferior to CS students, a government job in civil engineering offers you a comfortable and contented life,
Please note that DTU has no branch change policy so choose Civil Engineering only if you are genuinely interested in it.
Which college has a better quality of students, NIT Trichy or BITS Pilani, Pilani?
Both BITS Pilani and NIT Trichy have attracted the best minds in the country and are at par with each other in terms of infrastructure, academics, labs, job opportunities, and alumni network. However, there are two major differences
- NIT Trichy like any other national institute has a quota/reservation for SC/ST/OBC etc but BITS being a private institute accepts students solely on the basis of merit. So the crowd here is more filtered and of better quality.
- BITS Pilani fees are very high so the students there are from the high strata while NITs have competitively low fees so students from weak financial backgrounds also join.
- BITS is hyped for its no-attendance policy and flexible time schedule.
Overall, BITS Pilani certainly gives an edge to NIT Trichy in terms of infrastructure and facilities but that stems from the fact that it is a private institute that charges high fees. So, if you are getting the same branch and you have no financial constraints, go for BITS while if you have money-related issues then NIT Trichy will do you enough. Always prioritize branch over Institute!
How is the campus of IIT Mandi?
Located in the beautiful Himalayan region of India? IIT Mandi has the most beautiful campus in India. It spreads over an area of around 800 acres and is surrounded by lush green forests and picturesque mountains.
IIT Mandi Campus;
- The campus is equipped with top infrastructure, well-equipped labs, modern classrooms, and a variety of sports and recreational facilities
- The campus also has a number of hostels and guest houses for students and faculty.
- Additionally, there is a stationery shop on the campus and also a provisional store from where you can buy all items of daily use.
- Shuttle buses operate to and fro the campus and keep the campus well connected.
- IIT Mandi also has a medical unit that takes care of minor injuries and diseases.
- IIT Mandi has four canteens on the South Campus and a semi-restaurant called Kamand-Treat quite close to the campus.
Overall, the campus of IIT Mandi is considered to be one of the most beautiful and well-maintained in the country.
What is the syllabus for Allahabad University BA entrance exam?
There is no such official syllabus for Allahabad University BA entrance. You can follow Lucent General Knowledge, it covers most of the syllabus for subject tests, except for logic, Urdu, and Sanksrit. The questions asked in General Awareness, and General mental ability tests are simple. You will be able to solve these questions easily. For subject tests, the questions will be of intermediate level.

Can I get admission into LNCT Bhopal without the JEE?
Yes, it's very much possible to get admission to LNTC Bhopal even without clearing JEE. students can get admission Management Quota. However, it's important to note that your annual fees will be much higher than students who got admission through JEE. Additionally, you might be asked to pay some donations too. So, one needs to be financially strong to get admission to LNCT without giving JEE.
A friend of mine who is also an ex-student of LNCT Bhopal says that the institute has lost its charm and genuineness since 2010. The focus has shifted from imparting quality education to increasing the batch size making it a money-making machine. Because of the Management quota, the quality of the crowd is now compromised just for the sake of money. This has affected the overall academic ambiance so I would suggest you reconsider your decision to join this institute.
What is it like to be a student at IIM Shillong?
An average student's daily itinerary looks something like this:
8:00 am - You may find yourself regretting not getting enough sleep the night before. The sound of alarms fills the corridors as everyone wakes up. One person usually gets up first and makes sure the rest of the group is also up.
8:30 - Breakfast is not optional. The classes are tough and the weather is cold, so it's important to have energy. You'll probably eat Idlis, parathas, upma, or whatever else is on the menu for the day.
8:59 - You may find yourself running at top speed towards class, as the door closes at exactly 9:00 and the attendance sheet will have a sad blank space where your name should be. Attendance is very important in MBA colleges.
Each class is 1.5 hours long. There is a 15-minute break between classes, which is the perfect time to discuss college gossip, have a cup of tea, go through pre-reads, or work on PowerPoint presentations.
6:00 pm - By this time, you'll be exhausted and would probably give anything for a bed. Luckily, it's tea time, so you can forget your troubles for a little while and enjoy some snacks. The rest of the evening will be spent working on club committee tasks. There is always something that needs to be taken care of, whether it's an upcoming event or an article that needs to be written. However, most days you don't mind the work because it helps bring everyone together.
The "M" in MBA could stand for "meetings." There are so many of them - study group meetings, club meetings, competition meetings, and more. On the plus side, you get to know everyone very well.
By 12:00 am, you'll be tired but determined. The night canteen will help fuel you through the rest of the night. You'll have assignments to submit and pre-reads to get through. Many students use notebooks or apps to make to-do lists to stay organized. It's a great feeling to check off everything on your list.
On the weekends, things are a little more relaxed. You'll still have work to do, but you can choose your own pace. If you've worked hard during the week, the weekend is a good time to go on trips.
There will also be various events organized by the different clubs, such as Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, and Environment. These clubs work hard to come up with fun and creative versions of concepts. Together, students make everything run smoothly. Committees help make your MBA experience as comfortable as possible. The Hostel Committee might organize surprise events like Sunday Biryani, while the Cultural Committee ensures that no festival goes uncelebrated. The Sports Committee also finds ways to engage even those who are not particularly interested in sports.
IIM Shillong is always buzzing with activity. Everyone is always busy doing something, and it is these little things that help make them the amazing managers they want to be. A day at IIM Shillong is filled with a sense of belonging and a longing to be in Shillong.
How is Rajdhani College of DU?
Rajdhani University is known to have the best Physics and Electronics and Mathematics department. Overall it is more popular for its science stream than arts or commerce.
- If you are willing to study science, this is a good option for you.
- Rajdhani College infrastructure is quite good, with a newly built science block that has all necessary modern facilities.
- Their cafeteria is the best among all the DUs.
- They have a huge playground almost equal to the college building.
- It has the best location among all DU colleges. Situated near Raja garden flyover on Ring road. You can easily reach the college both from Ramesh Nagar and Rajouri Garden metro stations, which makes transportation easier.
- The college has its own DTC bus stop near their main gate.
- The sports facilities are not good here. Although they have many societies like music, debate, drama, mountaineering, etc.
Overall it is a good college, if you are unable to get admission in any other colleges in the northern region, you can go for it.
