If you have a strong interest in coding, you should prioritize that! Here’s a breakdown:

• 1). If coding is your passion, go for NIT Kurukshetra's IT program without hesitation. The placements and career prospects in IT there are excellent, with an average package of around 10–12 lakhs per annum.
• 2). If you want to explore and develop your personality, DTU is the better choice. Its campus in Delhi offers greater overall exposure, which NIT Kurukshetra may not provide.

So, consider what matters most to you!

Top NITs, DTU, NSIT, leading state colleges, and rapidly advancing IITs are all quite similar when it comes to placements.

In some, you may find:

• The best infrastructure and curriculum
• Better research opportunities
• A stronger alumni base

Overall, it’s pretty much the same. The key focus should be on choosing the best branch.

I've seen students from top IITs struggle due to not having an emerging or evergreen branch, while students from private or local colleges with trending branches excel.

So, if you have the option to choose among these colleges but with a better branch in one, go for it!

NOTE: Ultimately, it all depends on the individual's attitude. This answer reflects my perspective. If you are determined, nothing can stop you from succeeding. There are countless examples of successful people who started with nothing. You are still getting something!

I've looked into both DTU and BITS Pilani, and honestly, it feels like a tough choice. DTU has a vibrant campus life with tons of clubs and fests, and its location in Delhi brings great placement opportunities, especially in tech with companies like FAANG visiting. However, BITS Pilani offers a more flexible curriculum with a credit system that lets you explore subjects and has strong on-campus internships. If you value a bustling campus and excellent placement stats, go for DTU Electronics & Communication. But if you prefer a more holistic education experience with freedom in your course selection, then BE Computer Science at BITS Pilani would suit you better. Personally, I'd lean towards BITS for its overall student experience and innovative curriculum.

If you're passionate about CSE and enjoy programming, algorithms, AI, machine learning, networks, security, logic, etc., then go for CSE at IGDTUW.

ICE at NSIT covers a mix of ECE, COE, and IT syllabi. Keep in mind that many CS companies primarily recruit COE/IT graduates, and some only consider COE grads.

Unless you are absolutely certain you will work hard enough to land a job at Google or Facebook off-campus, or if you're considering non-tech careers like MBA, IAS, GMAT, etc., I’d suggest ICE at NSIT.

Also, make sure to check the syllabus for both courses!

If you’re aiming for high-paying placements and a dynamic campus life, DTU is the clear choice; however, if you prefer a more focused environment, Thapar could work for you.

I don't have much insight into the placement scenario at DTU. However, at Jadavpur University, the overall placement for Computer Science and Engineering is extremely impressive.

• Average package for CSE is over 20 LPA!
• The highest package exceeds 39 LPA!
• Overall average package is more than 16 LPA.

So, JU CSE definitely stands out in terms of placements!

DTU's B.Tech in Chemical Engineering stands out with impressive placement statistics, boasting a highest package of 1.8 Cr and an average package above 16 lakhs, alongside strong internship opportunities with top firms like Microsoft and Google. In contrast, while NIT Delhi's B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is also reputable, specific placement figures and internship insights are less detailed, making it harder to gauge its competitive edge. Given DTU's excellent track record in placements and supportive internship programs, I'd recommend DTU for better job prospects, especially if you’re aiming for core tech roles. However, if your passion lies in electrical engineering and you prefer NIT's environment, it could still be a solid choice.
