Jobs and types of profiles are completely based on the specialization. As we look into the placement data of 2023, sales and marketing emerged as the most demanding specialization among students with approximately 98% of the students in this field being placed.

Over 80 companies participated, with the top recruiters including HDFC Bank, TATA Steel, IBM Bank, SAMSUNG, McKinsey & Company etc. The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector offered the most placements, providing prestigious profiles like business associate, senior lead associate, senior executive, senior associate, assistant manager etc.

IIM Ahmedabad offered admissions for PGP Batch 2023-25 at a minimum CAT percentile of 87.19 percentile. In total, 137909 general category candidates selected IIM Ahmedabad PGP as their CAT preference, of which 692 were shortlisted for PI WAT round and 197 students received the final offers. IIT Kanpur placements are held in 2 different phases i.e., Phase I and Phase II. The institute is yet to publish its department-wise placement data. However, during the phase I placements in 2023, IIT Kanpur’s average package stood at INR 26.27 LPA with the highest package of INR 1.9 CPA. JBIMS does not have a dress code, but the students are expected to dress up decently.  The students should be in formal attire during placement, committee activities, guest lectures, seminars, external presentations, etc.

Amity University has categorized admissions as sponsored and non-sponsored. The sponsored category students include those candidates who have low merit in the required qualifying examination. 

The university reduces the eligibility and cutoff criteria for such students for which they are charged comparatively higher fees. In most of the courses available at Amity University, the institute has provided a 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria to students who are willing to take admission under the sponsored category.

The fee structure for both categories has a difference of around INR 2 Lakhs which is a huge amount to be paid for six months.

Students who come from financially well-off families are usually admitted in the sponsored category and do not have to worry about scoring more in the examinations held.

Yes, BHU is one of the top universities for pursuing an MBBS degree. The Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS-BHU), Varanasi, was ranked 6th by India Today, 7th by IIRF, and 2nd by Outlook in 2023 in the field of medicine. BHU MBBS is offered under the faculty of medicine and is a full-time five-year undergraduate course.

According to the summer internship placement data released for PGP, PGP-Finance and PGP-Liberal Studies, there were a total of 541 students in the for batch 2022-24. The summer internship placement drive was conducted for 3 days and 122 recruiters participated.

The highest stipend offered was INR 6.47 Lakhs, which has increased 73% from the previous year. The average stipend of females has also increased by 23% and stood at INR 2.81 Lakhs. The average and the median stipend has increased by 25%.
