What documents are required for admission in IIM Bangalore?

The candidates will have to upload the scanned copy of all the original documents which will be verified at the time of GD-PI and also during registration for final admission. The documents required are as follows:

  • 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet, UG semester Marksheets, 
  • Proof of Identity (Aadhar card, PAN, Driving License, etc)
  • CAT Scorecard
  • Work experience certificate along with the pay slip, offer letter and IIM Bangalore admission letter. 

Other than these, your extra-curricular activity certificates, academic excellence certificates and sports certificates should be submitted. The extracurricular activities also carry some weightage during the admission process along with the Interview and academic marks.

How do I qualify for BHU?

Candidates who are seeking admission to BHU must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university. Generally, the eligibility for all the BHU programs is as follows:

  • Undergraduate Courses: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board of education. Reserved category candidates may be eligible for relaxations as per the university or government guidelines. Moreover, the candidates must not be more than 22 years old on 1st July of the year of admission.
  • Postgraduate Courses: Candidates must have passed a relevant bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 pattern with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board/university. Also, an age limit might be prescribed for some postgraduate programs. 
  • PhD Programs: Candidates must have passed a relevant master's degree with at least 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
  • Certificate Courses: To opt for certificate courses of BHU, candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board of education.

Can I appear for end-semester exams if my attendance is less than 75% at Allahabad University?

No, students of Allahabad University will not be allowed to appear for their main exams if their attendance is less than 75%. However, there may be exceptions in some cases. Usually, Allahabad University students can appear for end-semester exams only if they have a minimum attendance of 75% or more in respect of classes delivered in each course separately. But in the cases given below, candidates are exempted from the minimum attendance requirement up to a certain percentage:

Exceptions for the non-fulfillment of minimum attendance requirement:

  • If a student fails to fulfill this condition due to some unavoidable circumstances beyond his/her control like illness etc., attendance up to 20% will be condoned by the Dean/HOD on production of medical certificate/supporting documents on justified grounds. 
  • If a student represents his/her institution, university, state, or nation in sports, NCC, NSS, cultural or any other officially sponsored activities, he/she shall be eligible for relaxation of attendance up to 20% in a course based on the specific recommendations of the Dean/Head of the Department.
