MBA IB students have the option to spend the 4th Semester of the program at one of TAPMI’s several partner universities/business schools around the world. TAPMI has partnered with renowned global B Schools, including Macquarie University, Sydney; Rennes School of Business and ECS Rennes in France; Emporia State University; and the University of Dubai.
Placements for all specialisations like marketing, HRM, IB and BKFS take place together, rest of the courses like MBA Technology take place independently.
Firstly, IIM Lucknow offers a separate MBA program in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, which is a 16-month course. The pedagogy includes theory, enhancement of skills and practical knowledge.
The course is designed for those who want to launch their own venture. The curriculum itself forces the students to ideate a business, helps them acquire the knowledge & skills needed to launch it and also supports them in finding funding for it. This course aims to launch the venture of the students by the end of the program.

PES University is a NAAC accredited private university offering two-year M.Tech courses in four specializations: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Candidate must have passed in an engineering degree with 50% marks in a relevant field to apply for the M.Tech course. The tuition fee for M.Tech range from INR 4 lakhs to INR 5.60 lakhs at PES University. Candidates can submit their PGCET or GATE scores to secure admission to the M.Tech course. If any student has not qualified for the above-mentioned exams, he or she needs to apply for the PESSAT conducted by the university.
The university also offers good placement opportunities for M.Tech students in their final year. As per the official reports, 93 M.Tech students got placed out of 113 students during 2023 placements at a median package of INR 4.90 LPA.

There are no specific details provided by the college regarding the placement percentage. But according to alumni, the placement record of Welingkar is close to 95% - 98%. Getting a student placed is not just a responsibility of the college but it also depends upon other factors such as how skilled a student is and how he/she tried to improve/upskill himself during the two years of the course.
Various MNCs have been legacy recruiters at SIBM Pune and every year new MNCs also join the placement drive. During the 2023 placements, there were 58 legacy recruiters and 49 new recruiters. Jobs and types of profiles are completely based on the specialization. As we look into the placement data of 2023, sales and marketing emerged as the most demanding specialization among students with approximately 98% of the students in this field being placed.
Over 80 companies participated, with the top recruiters including HDFC Bank, TATA Steel, IBM Bank, SAMSUNG, McKinsey & Company etc. The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector offered the most placements, providing prestigious profiles like business associate, senior lead associate, senior executive, senior associate, assistant manager etc.
