The faculty-student ratio seems decent and they are quite supportive, which is crucial for any nursing student. KGMU might offer a good curriculum too, but the overall campus life at AIIMS, with its vibrant societies and events like the PULSE fest, adds an extra layer of experience that enriches student life. If you want a more dynamic environment with solid internship opportunities and a reputable degree, go for AIIMS Delhi. If you prefer a more traditional setup, KGMU could be a good fit, but personally, I think AIIMS edges ahead overall.

I’m in my second year of MBBS at AIIMS Delhi, and I’ve noticed that the end semester results take about 4 to 6 weeks to come out after the exams. It’s quite a wait, but the anticipation makes it all the more exciting to see how we’ve performed. The curriculum here is so rigorous that I genuinely hope my efforts pay off!

It's a big decision, so I suggest making a pros and cons list and considering the future benefits of each college, like internal PG quota and other factors. Remember, it's a commitment for 5 years, so think it through. Best of luck!

Obviously, it is B.Sc Nursing from AIIMS Delhi. The academics and clinical exposure are very good. Academics will help you to crack M.Sc Nursing or direct exam-based recruitments. Clinical exposure will help you to be a good nurse. As far as opportunities are concerned, you can easily compare the number of nurses to the number of BDS doctors. The salary of a nursing professional is around 60–70k in a central institute, and they have only 6 hours of duty per day to earn that money. With many new hospitals starting, opportunities for nursing professionals are increasing day by day. If you have done your nursing from AIIMS, you will be preferred in any interview throughout the country. In contrast, government opportunities for BDS are very limited, and post-graduation seats are scarce. There are many "jhola chaap" dentists who are doing work without a degree, leading to less scope for stabilization as a dentist. Finally, if you get a government job, there is not much difference in salary between a dentist and a nursing officer, but the workload for a dentist is much more compared to that of a nurse.

B.Sc Nursing is the better option! Here’s why: More opportunities to build a solid career., B.Sc Anesthesia has limited posts and doesn’t involve direct patient care., and B.Sc Nursing offers greater job satisfaction with direct patient care, which is essential for the smooth functioning of a hospital.. I absolutely love my B.Sc Operation Theatre Technology course at AIIMS Delhi! The exposure we get through practical training is unmatched. The faculty is super knowledgeable and really helps us with any difficulties we face. The fees are incredibly low, which is a blessing, and the hostel life is decent with good food. The only thing I wish for is a higher stipend during the internship—it’s currently around ?1,034 per month. But overall, if you’re looking to dive deep into the medical field, this course is a fantastic choice!

Depends on which state you belong to. Agar aap metro city se hain, toh state college better choice ho sakta hai. Lekin agar aap kisi xyz state se hain (main state ka naam nahi lunga, aap log apne state ki condition se waqif hain), toh phir naye AIIMS ko prefer karna better hoga. Kuch aur cheezein jo aap consider kar sakte hain: Fee structure????: Kuch state government medical colleges ki fees bohot zyada hoti hai, agar aap aise hain jo family par burden nahi dalna chahte, toh AIIMS ko choose karna accha rahega kyunki yahan fees sabse kam hai. Academic????: Yeh aisa point hai jo aapke decision par zyada farak nahi dalega kyunki (end mein padna toh aapko video lectures se hi hai). Infrastructure?????????: Bahut se top state medical colleges ka infrastructure bohot bekar hota hai, jabki AIIMS ka infrastructure latest aur best hai. Jab main infrastructure ki baat kar raha hoon, toh main LT, labs, aur auditorium ko consider kar raha hoon. Hostel: Rooms ki condition, occupants ki sankhya, etc. yeh sab cheezein aap consider kar sakte hain. Sports?????: Extra curricular activities bohot crucial hain aur aapko refresh rakhte hain kyunki aapko wahan lagbhag aadha decade rehna hai. Location: Yeh bhi ek important factor hai.

Absolutely not! Choosing a college based solely on the state quota for PG is a mistake. You must consider other crucial factors like: Academics, Faculty, Clinical exposure, Central government funding, Peer group, and Diversity. All these aspects are superior in AIIMS Delhi compared to MAMC. Regarding the PG state quota, it's unpredictable what will happen in 5.5/6 years. The quota could be withdrawn, implemented, or changed. Therefore, prioritizing a college based on the current status of the PG quota is shortsighted. At AIIMS, there will always be a preference for AIIMSonian candidates for PG, even if they score the same as non-AIIMSonian candidates.
