Which exam is easier, the LPU NEST or the Amity JEE?

SD
Shruti Das Posted On : January 14th, 2021
B.Tech in CSE from Lovely Professional University (2019)

Between these two, LPU NEST is relatively easier than Amity JEE, although the syllabus of these two entrance exams is almost similar. Both of these exams are conducted online, and are convenient for the student to take part from anywhere.

Following considerations will be helpful to comprehend why LPU NEST is more comfortable than the other one.

LPU NEST

  • This exam does not have any negative marking; thereby, the students cannot lose marks for their wrong answers.
  • Besides, after cracking this test, the student will get the opportunity to select their subjects from various streams, including Engineering and Management, Agriculture, Commerce, etc. offered by this institute.
  • The scholarship is attached to this test. The meritorious students get the scholarship facilities as per their scores in the LPU NEST exams.

Amity JEE

  • It has negative marking, and one mark is deducted for every four wrong answers.
  • While Amity JEE is only for getting admission in Engineering subjects at Amity University and not for other subjects.
  • The scholarship is not attached to this test, so the programs in this institute are mostly self-paced.

The syllabus is almost similar to both of these tests, as mentioned earlier, and it follows the basic concept of the subject that the student has learned in his or her previous qualification. The important thing is that LPU NEST does not have the negative marking and the students get scholarships, as per their merit list; hence, it is easier to crack.

How can we prepare for the JEE Mains while attending classes at NIT Sikkim?

IT
Ishaan Tiwari Posted On : July 5th, 2021
Studied at NIT Trichy (2019)

JEE Main is a tough exam and it gets even tougher if you have your college studies to do. But luckily in NIT Sikkim, the study pressure is less, so you can prepare easily. For preparation, you can take an extra day off from the institute with permission.

  • Talking about the JEE subjects, Mathematics is the same as the course in 1st year so it gives you a good revision and more guidance to cover your topics.
  • For Chemistry especially the organic part and inorganic part comes only from the NCERT books and from the previous year’s papers.
  • For Physical Chemistry, you can ask your faculty from the chemistry department to help you with it.
  • Moreover, class notes, previous year’s papers, and a good book will set you up properly.
  • For Physics HC Verma and DC Pandey are the best books available. The physics department helps you if you ask regarding anything.
  • In the first-semester course differential and integral calculus are covered so you don’t have to worry about them.

NIT is a good option and you won’t have anything to lose so it is safe. Just solve a lot of practice papers.

What is the fees structure for mca through pgcet in cmr university

RS
Rishabh Singh Posted On : March 7th, 2024
Lives in banglore

At present, CMR University charges a total of 2 lakhs per year as course fee for MCA

To be honest, CMR University is good for engineering courses, but it is just average for an MCA. Around 60-70% MCA students are offered placements, but a good number of companies visit the campus for recruitments.

Some of the remaining students are the ones with backlog(s). The highest package is around 20 LPA, and the lowest is around 3.75 LPA. Amazon, Mercedes, Kochi, Samsung, Cognizant, EY, etc. visit for recruitments. Most of them offer full stack software development roles.

The campus is not fully covered with Wifi. The library is not very large, and the canteen stalls offer very limited meal options. The stalls become heavily crowded during breaks, but the quality of food is good. Internals are conducted every month, but the curriculum and faculty are both good.

Overall, CMR is a decent option for an MCA. But you should also consider other better colleges for this degree.

What entrance exam do I have to take to get admission into BBA?

AB
Akriti Banerjee Posted On : January 18th, 2024
lives in New Delhi

BBA is a three year undergraduate program opted by students after their 12th.

Some colleges select students for their BBA program on the basis of merit (10th and 12th result). Most of these colleges require at least 50% marks to apply for their BBA program.

The IIMs conduct IPMAT to admit students for their BBA degree. There are other colleges as well which intake students for BBA on the basis of a written entrance exam. The exam pattern varies from one college to another.

Additionally, a college may conduct GD and PI rounds as part of its admission process.

Make a list of your desired business schools and visit their official websites to find out the admission criteria of each. Accordingly, prepare for the entrance exams, if any.
