Whether you can rewrite an examination or not, can be checked on Calicut University’s official website. There is a possibility that they might conduct examinations of that particular subject and year for which you have requested.

Also, try visiting Calicut University to check the possibility of a re-exam and its procedure.

I am a 2nd Year Undergraduate student of IIT Kharagpur. How I should prepare for this exam within the two upcoming years of my life?

SG

studied at IIT Kgp

Being a 2nd-year student is too early to start preparing for UPSC CSE. You might tire yourself out and when the actual time comes to outperform, you might not have the energy left to cope. Here are some guidelines that might help you prepare for this exam well in advance.

  • Know your CSE syllabus well
  • Read NCERT books of History, Political Science, Geography, and Economics from classes 6-12. This will broaden your knowledge base and you will become well aware of economic policies which can be adopted in a particular social sector.
  • Another great way is to start reading the newspaper on a daily basis. Keep yourself well acquainted with the happenings in your country in the economic and other sectors. Develop your own opinions on the various issues prevailing in society.

However, just reading NCERTs will not suffice for the exam. There are some additional standard books that you need to master to prepare well for your UPSC CSE exam.

  • Bipin Chandra's India's Struggle for Independence and History of Modern India.
  • M. Laxmikanth is the bible of Indian polity.
  • Indian Economy by Ramesh Singh for economics
  • Challenge and Strategy: Rethinking India's Foreign Policy.
  • Environment & Ecology: Biodiversity, Climate Change, and Disaster Management by Majid Hussain

These books will help you become well-versed in various topics asked in UPSC CSE.

The major prerequisites for preparing for the UPSC CSE exam are NCERTs, the standard books I have mentioned, and The Hindu newspaper. These will help you ace the exam. Additionally, you can work for NGOs to get a sound knowledge of prevailing issues, and practice writing answers and you will be well on your way.

B.Tech. in Computer Science from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (Graduated 2019)

No, you only get a total of 5 grace marks provided that your internal marks are 30 out of 50.

So for instance you scored 30 out of 50 in internals,

And 25 out of 100 in externals,

Then 5 grace marks will be given and you will be cleared in that semester.

How do I score an A grade on the RGPV theory exam?

BE (civil) from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal

It is necessary to maintain an incredibly strong grip on your subject. It is recommended that you revise with the previous year's question papers rather than simply memorizing answers from question banks. It will be best if you only get questions from them and try to find answers in books or make your own, based on your knowledge.

Simply being honest with yourself and working sincerely hard will help you get good grades not only in theory but also in practical and viva. Determination and dedication to your work are always rewarded.

What is the difficulty level of the IIM Indore IPM exam?

DT
Darryl Thomas Posted On : June 28th, 2023
Studied at Indian Institute of Management Indore

IIM Indore IPM exam, like any other competitive exam, can be challenging for some students. This answer is section-wise and gives an idea of the level of difficulty in each section.

The Verbal Ability section is said to be the easiest section of the exam. The section consists mainly of reading comprehension questions and other types of questions such as “odd one out” and “fill in the most suitable word”. If you read habitually, it should make this portion easier. To increase reading skills, others should read newspapers daily.

The Quantitative Ability section is considered to be a bit tough in comparison to the Verbal Ability section. The questions are mainly from Algebra and Coordinate Geometry from the Class 11-12 curriculum. A few questions from Calculus and Statistics are also included. This section can be the make-or-break section for many students as it requires a lot of practice and knowledge of the basic concepts. It is recommended to practice NCERT solutions and move on to slightly harder books to improve one's skills in this section.

In conclusion, while the difficulty level of the IIM Indore IPM exam can be subjective, it is important to prepare well and have a good understanding of the basic concepts to crack the exam.

What should I prepare for CEED NID or GRE TOEFL?

RS
Rahul Sinha Posted On : June 20th, 2022
National Institute of Design

You can start your CEED preparation by downloading study resources for different topics from the internet. But it will be better if you join a coaching center. The study materials of leading coaching centers are prepared by experienced professionals who are well aware of the previous year's question paper trends and practice papers. Taking mock tests can also help you with your preparation. Innovation in drawing and creativity are two important skills for clearing CEED.

Preparing for GRE and TOFEL is easier once you get the hang of the testing process. GRE tests verbal reasoning, critical thinking, quantitive reasoning, and analytical writing skills. TOFEL tests the ability of students to combine the four academic skills - Listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English. TOFEL is easier than GRE. If you have good verbal ability and a decent grasp of the English Langauge, you can do well in both tests. There are many reputed coaching institutes for GRE and TOFEL. You can join such an institute or self-study using resources from the internet.

How is Karunya University's entrance examination for a B.Tech?

SB
Shruti Banerjee Posted On : September 22nd, 2021
Studied at Karunya University

The entrance examination of Karunya University is not at all tough to crack. You just need to be thorough with the class 12th syllabus. General ethics might create a bit of a problem because of insufficient data, apart from that it is very easy. My brother wrote the test in 2016 and scored 326.

The selection process of the university is quite lenient. Try to secure a rank below 500, and you are good to go. There is nothing to panic about the test.

During the admission process, based on ranks the students are called. If you have a rank above 1200 then you might not get the department of your choice.

In RGPV, do we get marks for attempting the questions?

TS
Tushar Sharma Posted On : November 5th, 2022
B.E. in Civil Engineering, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal

The marking pattern in RGPV is very unpredictable. Sometimes you score well in exams you did not attempt well and get low marks in exams you wrote well. This is because the checking depends on the mood of the examiner and your luck.

However, I don't think you can just write anything and expect good marks. Also, the common ruling that filling a lot of sheets gets you more marks is also untrue. The quality of the answers should be good enough to score good marks. The best way is to practice a lot from the previous year papers. After making the maximum efforts you can leave the rest to your luck.
