Is BITS Pilani equivalent to IITs?
I find comparing BITS Pilani and IITs very lame as both have their own strengths and weaknesses and have made a strong mark in the educational world. Moreover, the ‘better’ institute depends on the individual and the branch he is looking for. For CS and EE, BITS is going to be the best option for you. But if you cannot afford the high fees then IITs will serve you better.
Although BITS is comparable to the old IITs, the suitability depends on the individual itself and is not generic. Everyone has different criteria to judge a college. Some focus on infrastructure while some give importance to placements and research. It depends on the individual on what to prioritize and then make a choice that suits his priorities the best.
What is your review of FORE School of Management?
FORE School of Management, New Delhi established in 1981 is currently ranked 43rd amongst the management institutes in the country. The institute is among the top Management colleges in India. Especially for domains like Marketing and Finance.

PGDM in IB is the institute’s flagship program. Apart from the PGDM courses, it also offers certification courses in Big Data Analytics and Applied Sciences, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning which are the most in-demand specializations in the industry currently.

Which one is better: VIT or MIT Manipal?
Comparably MIT Manipal is better.
- The admission procedure at MIT is transparent. They declare the cutoff for each branch after each round of counseling.
- MIT has a smaller batch size. The total number of seats for UG is 2040. Each branch has a proportionate number of seats.
- MIT Manipal placements are better. As per the recent placement highlights, the average CTC and highest CTC offered to the students were INR 7.50 LPA and INR 43 LPA. Around 50 Fortune 500 companies visited the campus placement.
Although MIT charges a higher course fee, the return on investment is better.
What is your review of Ashoka University?
Located in Sonipat, Haryana, Ashoka University is a private research university. Which one is better, PSU or IES?
Both PSU and IES have their own advantages. Here is some insight regarding both these services.
Postings:
In IES, each department except railways gives posting in metro cities or tier 2 cities. But in PSU, there are high chances that you will get a rural posting. Due to obvious reasons, most plants are set up in rural areas. DMRC, POSOCO are the only exceptions. So, if you want to live in metro cities, you should prefer IES. But most PSU has good townships set up near their plants. These townships have decent facilities like gyms, pools, clubs, shopping malls, etc.
Compensation/Salary:
PSUs offer better salary packages. Most PSUs offer a basic pay of INR 60,000. You will also get various allowances like cafeteria allowance, uniform allowance, etc. The CTC offered at most PSU is around INR 17-18 LPA, while it’s around INR 11-12 LPA in IES.
Authority:
In terms of authority, IES wins. No PSU job will offer you the power and authorities an IES service offers. IES jobs also have better respect in society.
Lifestyle/Facilities:
IES posts have more responsibilities. In sectors like railways, you need to be available 24*7. In terms of facilities, PSU is better. Large PSUs have almost every big private hospital in their panel.
You should choose one of these two services according to your preference.
How is the life at IIM Bangalore?
Life at IIM Bangalore is great. The classroom sessions are one of a kind. You will get to learn from the best minds in the management sector. Peer learning opportunities are ample. IIM Bangalore follows a trimester pattern - three terms per year. The weekends usually go by in a blur preparing for quizzes and academics.
IIM Bangalore offers an enviable hostel life. Food is great. You will get to spend time with some of the sharpest minds in the country. The campus is beautiful and has excellent facilities.
How difficult is it to get into IIM Bangalore?
In order to get admission to any school, one needs a lot of determination and consistency. IIM Bangalore is a highly reputed B school and every year thousands of students try to get into the college making the competition even more difficult. Moreover, you compete with some of the most intellectual individuals so you cannot let your guard down.

- Maintain good grades throughout your academic career if your goal is IIM Bangalore from the very beginning. Try to score at least 85–90%+ in your 10th, 12th, and 75–80% in graduation.

What is life like at RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru?
Life at RV College of Engineering is good. It offers decent academics, facilities, and excellent placement. The recent highlights of RV College of Engineering placements show the median CTC to be around INR 8.93 LPA.
The institute has strict rules in place regarding attendance and class timing. Classes start at 9 am sharp. There are many technical clubs and an entrepreneurship cell on campus. If you are a non-vegetarian, you may find it difficult to adjust at first on campus.

What is the first day feeling of any student who joined BITS PILANI ?
My cousin was very excited when she finally got admission to her dream college. She drove herself to the campus and was amazed by the huge building hovering before her. The campus is located in a serene area away from the noise of city life and has an amazing grandeur. She was amazed by the beauty of the building.
Once the necessary formalities were over, she was escorted to her hostel room and she spent a little time unpacking and settling. She went shopping with her parents to get essential items such as buckets, mugs, mattresses, etc.
Once she was done setting up her room, she started roaming around and exploring the huge campus. The infrastructure left her awestruck and she was excited to consider the beautiful campus her new home for the next 4 years!
