I have some friends at IIEST Shibpur and NIT Rourkela and based on what I heard from them, I will suggest that you choose the former. Here is why.
Here are the recent placement statistics at the institutes.

Go for IIEST, only if you are interested in doing research further, you can make some good contact there which will be helpful. But from a placement point of view, NIT R will be better for a CSE course.
Among all the options you have mentioned, the one which you should actually consider is ECE in IIIT Allahabad for a duration of 5 years.
The closing rank of IIIT Allahabad is better than ECE at NIT Allahabad and IT at IIIT Allahabad. ECE is best pursued at MNNIT Allahabad rather than IIIT Allahabad. But then I should also mention that IT is better for IIIT Allahabad than anywhere else. That's a fact.
If you have a knack for coding and it holds your concern, the environment that is accurate for a coding culture can be provided by IIIT Allahabad.
Therefore, if coding and IT are your forte, a 5-year IT course at IIIT Allahabad is the one for you. The faculty there are experienced and carry specializations that guide you through your way.
Look at the bigger picture which holds your future and then go for an aim. Choose such a specialization that ensures security to your future as well.
But then, if you eventually want to settle on ECE, MNNIT is the right place.
For IT, ABES College of Engineering is the best option. The coursework can be a little hectic for the first year but you will get used to it with time. ABES placements are great for IT and CSE. Almost 100% of students get placed from these branches. During the 2022 placement drive, the highest CTC offered by the recruiting companies was INR 44.14 LPA. The average CTC for ABES is around INR 6.06 LPA. Amazon, Mphasis, TCS, etc. are the major recruiters.
I have a few friends from both institutes and based on what I heard from them I will suggest that you choose BIT Mesra IT over IIIT Kota for the CS branch.
The placement statistics of BIT Mesra are as follows.
|
Highest CTC offered |
INR 49.76 LPA. |
|
Average CTC offered |
INR 11.76 LPA. |

No of job offers |

Hope this helps.

In terms of academics, both the colleges have a dedicated group of faculties who support and guide their students. The student to faculty ratio at MAIT is around 70:1, and at NSUT it is almost the same. The faculties at NSUT are highly qualified but extremely strict, and the course curriculum is updated. As for which institute will be better for you, you should be the one to decide that.
During the XIMB interview, the overall dress code should always be formal, with a neat and clean dressing. You can follow these points for better understanding -
These are some of the most important points that you need to take care of while dressing for any kind of interview, not just for XIMB.
A friend of mine used to be a student of MAIT and he heard that it was possible to migrate from one college to another. He was told that for moving from one college to another, you have to have a ‘no objection certificate from the college you are migrating from and the college you are migrating to. Good grades are also mandatory for moving to and from colleges.
In addition to these, you will also have to fill forms after completion of the first year on the main website of the college. Of course, you will have to submit the form to the college you are currently in.
Hope this clears some doubts.
It is difficult to compare two different institutes and two different courses. You should choose the course you are interested in and the college according to that.

B.Tech CSE from IIITM Gwalior will be a better option compared to integrated IT. B.Tech courses are more flexible. You will have the freedom to choose your field of interest after graduation. You can go for management degrees, or go for higher education abroad. With an integrated degree, your options will be limited.
IIITM Gwalior placements are pretty good for CSE. Almost 100% of students from the branch get placed. The average CTC offered in the placement drive is INR 14 LPA.
No, it is not possible to migrate IT MSIT to IT MAIT. Once the counseling is over, you won’t have the option to change your college. But internal migration within branches is possible. Branch change depends on the GPA of your first year. For branches like CS, the required GPA is higher than in other branches.
You need to apply for a lateral entry program, in order to change college.
