In recent years, at IIT BHU, most of the branches have had a good number of placements. If you are enthusiastic in your field of study, then you can easily get placed in a reputed company. You have the option of changing branches to a CSE branch after your first year, which will help you get a better career since it is a broad area. If you follow your passion and instinct, surely you will end up successful.
Choosing IIT BHU for Chemical Engineering is better than opting for CSE at MNIT Allahabad.

IIT BHU is a renowned institution and a good choice to pursue your engineering degree.
You will enjoy and learn a lot during your stay at IIT BHU.
Hostel life in IIT BHU is pretty wonderful. The institute has 12 hostels, and most of them are about 50-60 years old. The rooms in the old hostels are cramped, unlike the new ones, where rooms are quite spacious. Even then, the rooms are pretty much compact, as the rooms in the new hostels are three-seater. Hostel administration provides a bed, table, and chair. Cupboards are already inside the room, which is shared. In a wholly arranged room with couches, tables, and chairs, there is not much space to walk, but these hostels have very spacious corridors and lawns to make up for it. Vishwakarma Hostel corridors are so long that one will hesitate to go from one end to another. Each of the hostels is equipped with basic facilities like sufficient numbers of bathrooms and water coolers.
Apart from these, hostels have common rooms, canteens, mess, TV Room. Every hostel also has badminton courts, TT tables, lush green lawns. You will have access to high-speed internet, which is available via both Wi-Fi and LAN. The food here is much better than any other IIT. After the first year, students are allowed to keep their own vehicles like bikes and scooters inside the campus. Canteens in all hostels close before 4 AM. But if you have access to any vehicles, you can go to any place in Varanasi to eat out at any time of the day. There are not many restrictions of any type in the hostels.
Hostel staff and administration is amiable, you can reach out to them for any help you need. To sum it up, hostel life in IIT BHU is vivacious, and people make tons of cherished memories here.
There have been changes which happened lately for which IIT BHU is better than IT-BHU.
IIT BHU comes with a tag of IIT which offers a lot of advantages to the students. There is no interference of BHU, thus IIT BHU works independently. There is a tremendous help from the government in terms of funding. The campus placements have improved and so have the curriculum. Now since it has become an IIT, it has numerous opportunities for growth and development. The infrastructure of the institute is improving and now the college has a lot of student exchange programs which results in better exposure. IIT BHU admits some of the brightest students who work very hard through IIT JEE. This creates a competitive and better academic environment.
Hence we can say that IIT BHU is better than IT BHU.
