It's a much sought-after degree at Vignan University. My brother pursued the same and did his MS later. There are two ways to get an internship in the IISC Bangalore.
My brother chose the second option to get his preferred spot.
It all actually depends on your interest. As both of these options are completely different and two different areas of interest. You must choose what you find interesting. There would not be any conflict between these two institutes over the placement stats as both of them will give good placements to their students. Here are the recent placement highlights of the institutes.

| Average CTC | 20 LPA | 10 LPA |
| Highest CTC | 43 LPA | 40 LPA |

If you are interested in tough work that is more challenging or research and development-oriented, you should choose IISc. As in the world of Nanoscience, IISc is the country’s most renowned institution. And if you are more inclined towards managerial work, then it would be better to go to NITIE.
Having to know some people from both these institutes, I can say that both have the sand management course but still, there's a lot of difference between the mindset of the two.

IISc and IITM both offer good placements opportunities for M.Tech ECE. Same core companies visit the campuses, especially for ECE branches of Micro-Electronics and Electronics Systems Engineering.
Due to the small batch size, competition is much less at IISc. Some of the major recruiters were Texas Instruments, Cisco, Analog Devices, etc. The highlights of IISc M.Tech ECE placements report an average CTC of INR 15 LPA.
Dring the 2021 placement drive of IITM, M.Tech students received an average CTC of INR 16.84 LPA.
Campus do offer placement but it is more research oriented so students prefer to continue the higher studies rather than choosing placement. My plan is also to ago for phd and then post doc to pursue research.
Faculty to students ratio is quite good. Students can approach students anytime they are quite approachable. We have two exams mid term and end term each semester and they are based on whatever we do or learn in the classes.
The campus life is quite good. We have several fests including Pravega and Rhapsody the centres of that. Books and journals are easily accessible via library. Classrooms are equipped with digital display and air conditioning
The Hostel facility is quite good with minimal charges. In the room we get table, chair, bed, fan, cupboard and a balcony attached with room. Meal quality is very good. Registration process for these are quite smooth.
