My daughter is studying biotechnology in Vignan University in Guntur. She wants her internship in the IISC in Bangalore. Is it possible? If possible how to apply?

It's a much sought-after degree at Vignan University. My brother pursued the same and did his MS later. There are two ways to get an internship in the IISC Bangalore. 

• First, make an application to the Indian Academy of Sciences Summer Research Fellowship program and choose IISC in the institute preference option. 
• Second, simply email a professor and try to convince them to let your daughter intern at the IISC. 

My brother chose the second option to get his preferred spot.
