It is not a hidden fact that IIT Kharagpur has one of the biggest college campuses in India. It is larger than IIT Bombay, Delhi, and Kanpur combined together. In fact, the agriculture and food engineering department of IITKGP is bigger than IIT Delhi itself.
It has more than 20 departments offering a plethora of courses like Computer Science, Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, and Exploration geophysics.
Some major highlights of IIT Kharagpur's infrastructure and amenities are
IITKGP is one of the most beautiful colleges in the country. One can visit the campus to really understand its uniqueness. Being the oldest and biggest, IIT Kharagpur is called the Mother of IITs.
In terms of academics and placements, Anna University is decent. The university has eight faculties and 30 departments. It offers UG, PG, and doctorate courses. It has collaborated with 37 international universities for student exchange programs.
Anna University placements are good. Ashok Leyland, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in the campus placements. During the recent placement drive, students received an average CTC of around INR 7 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 36 LPA.
Unfortunately, IIIT Delhi's mess food is like any other typical mess food. I have friends in other IITs and I heard from them that their mess food is better. The mess scenes are very chaotic, especially during the day.
There are frequent menu changes but only for the show. No new dishes are added and only the order or serving is changed. They even interchange lunch and dinner and claim this act as updating the menu. The mess app doesn't improve the food quality.
The food served is of substandard quality and the majority of students tend to order their food online. So, be prepared to be disappointed by the IIITD Mess.
Life at all the top B Schools in India for MBA aspirants is pretty much the same. It’s hectic and rigorous but highly knowledgeable. The B Schools offer an insight into the various angles of Management in a period of 2 years through excellently designed pedagogy and curriculum.
Coming to SPJIMR specifically, has a blend of a variety of features that sets it apart from other top B Schools. Some of these include Innovative pedagogy, Profile-based interview calls, ADMAP, DOCC, Abhyudaya, Global Fast Track, and Autumn placement structure. But the one aspect my answer will solely focus on is the amazing culture of SPJIMR which is like no other B School.
I know many may criticize me for jotting such minor points in reference to campus life at SPJIMR. But in my opinion, the culture of an Institute is a very important parameter as it determines what kind of relationships you will have with your peers and the kind of friends you will have for a lifetime. You get to have the best alumni network as a cherry on top.

A close friend of mine completed her MTech from NIT Rourkela and shared her overall experience of time spent at the institute
NIT Rourkela students experience a smooth campus life and most of their needs are taken care of.
There is no discernible difference.
1-The faculty levels on both campuses are the same. Teachers on the south campus are more helpful and friendly, but there are a few good teachers on the north campus as well.
2-When it comes to PG or food, the South campus is far too cheap. In the south, one can find very good affordable accommodation. North is a little pricey because there are too many colleges, which increases the demand for goods and pgs, and thus prices.
3-The crowd in each college is nearly mixed and uniform. Although the north campus receives more applications from students from UP, Bihar, Haryana, and Rajasthan because it is overrated and hyped among people, all mostly SC, ST, and OBC, sports quota, and ECA quota students go there if they get it anyhow.
4-Colleges do not provide degrees; DU does. So, regardless of which college you attend, you will receive the same degree.
5-Placements- this is an extremely important factor. The majority of placements are reserved for Bcom and Economics Honours students. Placements are available at LSR, SRCC, Hindu, Venky, Hansraj, KMC, and Ramjas, but only for Bcom or Economics students. Other department students may be offered the internship, but the pay is insufficient.
6- Restrooms and drinking water- The restrooms in each college are clean and well-maintained. Clean and sanitary. However, if you drink a lot of water, you should only go to North Campus if you can buy a bottle for each day because the water there is too salty.
IIM Amritsar offers an enviable campus life.
Amritsar as a city is great. There are many places near the city as well as inside the city. Overall, you will enjoy being a part of IIM Amritsar.
