Xavier School of Management (XLRI Jamshedpur) is inviting applications for the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM). The admissions are open for the 2025 session and candidates can apply till January 31, 2025.

XLRI FPM Admission 2025 Details
FPM Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admission to the FPM program.
- BE / B. Tech. degree with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum three years) with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and post-graduation (MBA/Master’s degree in any discipline) from a university in India / abroad with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)
- An integrated master’s degree of four / five years in any discipline, with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).
- A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, or CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)
FPM Admission Process
- Candidates must appear in the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) conducted by XLRI. The next XAT is scheduled to be held on January 5, 2025.
- Submit the scores obtained in the latest UGC-JRF/NET, or the GMAT, or the GRE, or the GATE
- Candidates should have a two-year full-time PGDM / MBA or their equivalent, from XLRI or any recognised university with a CQPI of at least 6 on a scale of 8.
Applications obtained through either of the three ways will be subject to a merit-based short-listing by XLRI. Shortlisted candidates will be required to travel to and appear for a personal interview at the XLRI campus in Jamshedpur for final selection.
XLRI EFPM Admission 2025 Details
EFPM Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have an MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or equivalent, or GMP/PGPX or One Year full-time residential program in Management with 60% marks
- Candidates must be currently employed in a full-time job with at least 5 years of full-time executive/ managerial/ teaching/ research experience as of March 31, 2025.
- Degree / Diploma / Certificate holders through part-time, correspondence, private appearance, or satellite-based programs are not eligible for applying to the EFPM.
EFPM Admission Process
- All Application Forms will be screened by a separate Screening Committee with representatives from Fellow Programme Committee and respective areas of specialization.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview during March-April 2025 at the XLRI Jamshedpur campus for the final selection.

XLRI FPM/EFPM Admission 2025 Financial Aid/ Fee Details
- FPM Fellowship: FPM scholar is awarded a fellowship of INR 45,000/- per month during the 1st and 2nd year, and INR 50,000/- per month for the next two years in addition to a tuition waiver, to help meet living and other expenses. Fellowship will be paid only to full-time residential students, and for four years.
- FPM Contingency Grant: FPM scholar is entitled to a contingency grant of INR 30,000 per annum for four years.
- EFPM Program Fee: The total fee for the entire program is INR 10,70,000/- payable in four installments. The Institute reserves the right to collect the service tax from the students in addition to the fees as applicable. The above fee does not include board and lodge charges during campus visits, which will be charged separately.
The FPM student is expected to complete the program in about 4 years, with a maximum completion time of 7 years. The EFPM student is expected to complete the program in about 5 years, with a maximum completion time of 8 years.
Students failing to complete the requirements within the given period will be deemed to have withdrawn from the program, and their candidature will be closed.
