The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has announced the expected schedule for WBJEE 2023 Counseling at the official website i.e., wbjeeb.nic.in.
New Delhi: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination results were released on May 26, 2023 but according to the West Bengal Joint Entrance Board (WBJEEB), the counselling might begin from the first week of July 2023. The counselling procedure will not begin before July 7, 2023 in any case, as per the potential WBJEE Counseling 2023 timetable which were disclosed during the state joint result announcement on Friday.
Additionally, as stated by the Joint Board, the three steps of the counselling process will remain the same, but the total counselling procedure will be significantly simplified. The associated brochure will also be published, according to the Joint Board Chairman. The State Joint Board Chairman stated, "We must rely on three all-India organisations for counselling," when announcing the State Joint results on Friday.
AICTE, the All India Council for Technical Education, comes first. The Council of Architecture is the second. The Pharmacy Council of India is third. The three organisations' academic calendars and a recent notification both state that authorisation will be granted (to the institutions) by June 30, 2023.
The State Joint Board's chairman further stated, "Once the approval has been granted, the various institutions will send their information to the relevant department”. Within a week of obtaining the information, we will begin the counselling process.
Additionally, he added, "Like in the past, there will be three steps to the counselling process: assignment, upgrade, and mop-up round. Counselling procedures are becoming more straightforward. There will be a pamphlet released. It will include all the data. If students thoroughly study the pamphlet before counselling, they will be aware of all the details. They won't encounter any issues while counseling.
The joint board chairman also advised the students to carefully consider their options prior to receiving admissions counselling for engineering, architecture, and pharmacy colleges. He also suggested that the pupils frequently check the board's website.
