SOFT CET 2026 opens admission to its UG, PG, and Diploma programs in Fashion Design, Communication, Textile, Jewellery Design, and more. Interested candidates can now apply @soft.ac.in.

SOFT CET 2026

The School of Fashion Technology (SOFT), Pune, part of the prestigious MKSSS family of universities and one of India's leading design education institutions, has announced the opening of registrations for SOFT CET 2026.

The Common Entrance Test is held annually for students seeking undergraduate and postgraduate study opportunities in various areas of design. SOFT CET has developed a number of tracks for various areas of creative ventures, from textile innovations to fashion communication.

SOFT CET 2026 Eligibility

Program	Eligibility
B.Des	Passed 12th from a recognized board OR 2-year full-time diploma after Class 10 (MSBTE/State Board)
M.Des	4-year degree in design/applied arts/fine arts/architecture OR 3-year degree in fashion/design with experience OR Graduation in any stream + private diploma in design

International and NRI candidates must submit an equivalency certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities).

SOFT CET 2026 Application Process

Visit the official website: soft.ac.in
Click on the link that says "SOFT CET 2026 Registration"
Fill in personal details, educational details and communication details
Upload required documents such as class 10 mark sheet, class 12 mark sheet (for UG), graduation mark sheet (for PG), proof of address and scanned photograph and signature.
Submit the application form after paying the ₹4000 application fee
Print the application form for reference

SOFT CET 2026 Exam Pattern

SOFT CET 2026 is conducted in English, under the total time duration of 45 minutes (for the online test) with no negative marking.

All three components are compulsory and conducted on the same day.

SOFT CET 2026 Admissions Process

To be eligible for admission to the program, candidates must successfully complete all three portions of the entrance exam listed below:

General Ability Test (Online)
Studio Test or Group Discussion
Personal Interview (which includes Portfolio review and SOP)

Admission decisions will be based on the overall assessment performance of each candidate and all three portions of the exam must be completed on the same day.
