WB JECA 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to April 28

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced an extension of the JECA 2026 registration deadline to April 28, 2026 (Tuesday). The decision was taken considering all aspects and to provide additional time for candidates to complete their online applications. The correction window for submitted applications will remain open on April 30 and May 1, 2026. All other terms and conditions as stipulated earlier will remain unchanged. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the extended deadline to avoid missing the opportunity.

JECA 2026 is the Joint Entrance Examination for admission to engineering and architecture programs in West Bengal colleges and universities. The examination is conducted by WBJEEB for candidates seeking admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, and other professional courses. The online application process allows candidates to register, fill their details, and submit required documents through the official portal. Eligibility Criteria for JECA 2026

Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The minimum aggregate marks requirement is 45% in Physics, Mathematics, and English combined. Candidates appearing for Class 12 examination in 2026 are also eligible to apply. Indian nationals and foreign nationals with valid documents are eligible to apply for JECA 2026. Candidates must meet the age criteria as specified in the official brochure.

JECA 2026 examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode on June 14, 2026. The examination tests candidates' knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Results will be declared in June 2026 and merit lists will be prepared for counseling and seat allocation.
