Vishwakarma University Admission 2026 Open @vupune.ac.in; VUNET to be Held on March 24

The Vishwakarma University, Pune, has opened the UG and PG admission process for the 2026 academic session. Candidates seeking admission to select programmes must appear for the Vishwakarma University National Entrance Test (VUNET) 2026, which is scheduled to be conducted on March 24, 2026.

VUNET is the university’s entrance examination conducted for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Qualifying in the exam is mandatory for admission to certain courses offered by Vishwakarma University. The entrance test is applicable for programmes including B.Des, BFT (Fashion Design & Technology), LLB, B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Des, LLM, MBA, and MCA.

However, candidates who have appeared for certain national or state-level entrance examinations may be exempted from VUNET. For instance, UCEED or NIFT scores are accepted for design programmes, while CEED scores are valid for M.Des admissions. Similarly, JEE Main or MH-CET scores are accepted for B.Tech programmes, and CAT, CMAT, or MH-CET scores are considered for MBA admissions.

The VUNET 2026 examination will be conducted in online proctored mode on the university’s official testing platform. The exam for non-design programmes will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 2.5 hours, while design programmes will include a three-stage evaluation comprising a Design Aptitude Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interview.
