UCEED and CEED 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to November 5; Apply Here!

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has officially extended the registration deadlines for both the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) and the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2026. Candidates can now submit their online application forms without a late fee until November 5, 2025, and with a late fee until 5 PM on November 10, 2025.

UCEED and CEED 2026 Application Fee

• For Indian nationals, the fee is ₹2,000 for female candidates of all categories as well as for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
• For all other candidates, the registration fee is ₹4,000. The payment must be made online through the official portals using available digital payment options.

The registration process for UCEED and CEED 2026 began on October 1, 2025, through their respective official websites - uceed.iitb.ac.in and ceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates are required to register online by providing personal, academic, and contact details, uploading documents, and paying the required fee. The extension provides additional time for applicants who missed the earlier deadline of October 31, 2025.

As per the revised schedule, the admit cards for UCEED and CEED 2026 will be released on January 2, 2026, and corrections can be made until January 8, 2026. The examinations will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

UCEED is conducted for admission to the B.Des programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Roorkee. CEED, on the other hand, is conducted for admission to M.Des and PhD programmes in design at premier institutes, including IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru. Both exams test design aptitude, visual perception, creativity, and analytical reasoning.
