Tumkur University has released the merit list of candidates appeared for University’s MBA and MCA course entrance examinations. Counselling dates for both MBA and ,CA courses is January 8 to 10, 2025. The merit list can be checked below.

Tumkur University MBA/MCA Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in taking admission to the Tumkur University MBA and MCA program must be eligible as per the criteria mentioned below:

MBA Course Eligibility

Candidates must have a recognized degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks aggregate for candidates from disadvantaged classes and individuals with disabilities residing in Karnataka alone).

MCA Course Eligibility

A candidate who has passed any recognized BCA / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree / B.Voc with Computer Science OR

Those who have earned a B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. with mathematics at the 10 + 2 level or at graduation (with additional bridge courses according to the policies of the relevant university) and earned an overall minimum of 50% in all subjects across all years of the degree examination are eligible to enroll in MCA courses. In the Qualifying Examination, applicants from SC, ST, and Category I Karnataka obtained 45% of the total points.
Admission to the program shall follow the University's and the Karnataka government's regularly updated regulations.

Tumkur University MBA/MCA Admission Documents Required

Candidate must submit the following document at the time of MBA/MCA Admission at Tumkur University

10th standard Marks Card;
12th standard Marks Card and
QE marks card of the candidate,
Candidate’s Study Certificate;
If you are seeking reservation benefits, you must provide a Caste / Caste Income Certificate issued by the Tahsildar. For SC / ST, use Form-D, Category-I, Form-E, and Forms 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B.
