TIFR Opens Applications for Graduate Studies (GS) 2026; Register by October 26

The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) has opened applications for its Graduate Studies (GS) 2026 session. Candidates must register for the GS entrance examination to be considered for admission to MSc, Integrated MSc-PhD, and PhD programs. The application portal opened on September 27, 2025, and the final deadline to complete registration is October 26, 2025.

Application Fee

• Male Candidates: ₹1000
• Female and Other Candidates: ₹500

The TIFR GS-2026 entrance exam will be held on 14th December, 2025, with the morning session (9 AM–12 PM) for Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science & LIDS, M.Sc. (Wildlife Biology & Conservation), and Mathematics (PhD at CAM, 9–11 AM), and the afternoon session (2–5 PM) for Biology (JGEEBILS), Mathematics (other programs), and Science Education. Programs start on 1st August 2026.
