DGME Uttar Pradesh has released the UP NEET MDS Round 2 counselling seat matrix at upneet.gov.in. Candidates can fill choices till September 24, 2026. Seat allotment result comes on September 25, 2026.
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) Uttar Pradesh has released the seat matrix. It covers the UP NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 counselling. Candidates can view it on the portal at upneet.gov.in.
The matrix lists vacant seats in government and private dental colleges. These are state quota MDS seats across Uttar Pradesh. Choice filling opened on September 22 and closes September 24, 2026. The seat allotment result will be declared on September 25, 2026.

How to Check the UP NEET MDS Round 2 Seat Matrix?
The seat matrix is a PDF hosted on the official DGME portal. It shows college-wise vacant seat details for Round 2. Candidates should refer to it before locking their choices.
- Visit the official portal at upneet.gov.in.
- Click on the MDS counselling section on the homepage.
- Open the link titled Round 2 seat matrix.
- Download the PDF for reference during choice filling.
Key Counselling Rules for Round 2
DGME UP has issued detailed guidelines for the second round. These rules govern seat allotment, upgradation and reporting. Candidates must read them carefully before locking choices.
- Choice locking after selection is compulsory for every candidate.
- Failure to lock choices leads to exclusion from allocation.
- Round 1 candidates need not redeposit security fees for Round 2.
- Non-reporting to the allotted seat forfeits the entire security deposit.
- Private college fees must be paid via CTS bank draft.
- The draft must be payable to Director General DGME at Lucknow.
Who Can Participate in Round 2?
Round 2 is open to candidates from the state merit list. It includes those who missed a seat in Round 1. It also covers candidates who declined their Round 1 allotment.
Fresh candidates who skipped Round 1 registration can also apply. They must complete new registration and pay the security money. Seat allocation follows the Round 2 merit list.
Round 2 is the last major chance for MDS aspirants. Later stray rounds usually have very limited seats. Choice locking now decides your college for the next three years.

- Download the Round 2 seat matrix PDF and study it carefully.
- List preferred colleges based on merit rank and personal interest.
- Fill and lock choices before 5:00 PM on September 24, 2026.
- Check the seat allotment result on September 25, 2026.
- Report to the allotted college between September 26 and October 1.
