Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2025-26 Stray Vacancy Round

The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu, has announced the fresh applications for NEET PG admissions 2025–26 for all eligible candidates as per the merit list till February 22, 2026.

The following candidates are eligible to participate in this counselling who does not satisfy: those who have already joined a course through State Quota counselling in Round 1, Round 2, or Round 3 (Mop-up); those allotted a seat through State Quota Round 3 (Mop-up); candidates who joined a course through All India counselling in Round 1, Round 2, or Round 3 (Mop-up); candidates allotted a seat through the All India Stray Vacancy Round; and candidates who discontinued a course with penalty, as they are not eligible for the stray round.

According to the official notification, candidates participating in online choice filling have to remit a non-refundable registration fee of INR 1000 for the government quota. And a refundable security amount of INR 30,000 at the time of admission.

As per the official brochure, if a candidate is allotted a seat and does not join, they are not allowed to vacate the seat. If you want to discontinue, then forfeit the registration fee, security deposit and tuition fees and pay a penalty. And in case a college is allotted and the candidate does not join, then the institute has the authority to Forfeit Registration fee, security deposit and tuition fees (if paid for downloading allotment order).

Shortlisted candidates have to report to the allotted college along with their original documents on a given date and time for verification.
