Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2025

The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Chennai, has released the NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round counseling schedule for PG Degree and Diploma courses. This final round covers seats in Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges, Self-Financing Colleges (government and management quota), and the Christian Medical College (Vellore).

Eligible candidates must report to the college, as the window for registration and choice filling is February 28, 2026.

Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2025 Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Eligibility: Candidates who have already joined or been allotted seats in Round 1, 2, or 3 (Mop-up) of State or All India Quota are not eligible. Those who discontinued with a penalty are also excluded.
  • Fees: A non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1,000 is required for Government Quota. Security deposits range from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 2,00,000 depending on the quota and college type (unless already paid).
  • Choice Filling: Candidates must exercise due diligence. Once choices are locked, they cannot be edited. If not locked manually by February 22, 1:00 PM, they will auto-lock.
  • Seat Conversion: Unfilled Service category seats will go to the General category. Unfilled SCA/ST/BCM seats will be diverted to SC/BC candidates respectively, as per government orders.
  • Penalties: If a candidate is allotted a seat in this round but fails to join, they will forfeit their registration fee, security deposit, and tuition fees.

How to Check Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2025 Allotment Status?

  • The candidate should first visit the official website: tnmedicalselection.net.
  • They must navigate to the PG Courses section and click on the specific link for the Stray Vacancy Round Result.
  • To access their individual status, the candidate is required to log in using their unique Login ID, Password, and OTP.
  • Once logged in, the candidate can view their allotment status to see which college and specialty has been assigned based on their rank and choices.
  • If a seat is allotted, the candidate must remit the Tuition Fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking to enable the download link.
  • The candidate should then download the Provisional Allotment Order and print multiple copies for the joining process.
  • The candidate must check the stipulated date and time mentioned on the order to ensure they report to the college before the February 28, 2026 (05:00 PM) deadline.
  • The candidate must ensure their bank account has a sufficient credit limit to handle the tuition fee transaction without failure.
