To qualify for the examination, candidates from the General, OBC, SC, and ST categories must secure 40% of the total marks. The merit rank is determined based on the candidate’s total score, with higher marks resulting in a better rank. In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, the prescribed tie-breaking rules will be applied. The official merit list will also be released on the portal, which will decide eligibility for counselling and seat allotment.
After the result declaration, qualified candidates will need to participate in the counselling process. The first step will be counselling registration through the official portal, with dates to be announced soon. This will be followed by document verification, where candidates must carry original mark sheets, certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and other required documents. After verification, candidates will complete the choice-filling process by selecting their preferred colleges and programmes. Seat allotment will then be carried out based on rank, category, and preferences, after which candidates must complete admission formalities at their allotted colleges.
Candidates are advised to download their rank card immediately, verify all details including name, registration number, marks, and rank, and print multiple copies on white A4 paper for future use. They should keep their registration number and hall ticket confidential, regularly check the official APSCHE website for counselling updates, and ensure all required original documents are ready in advance. Candidates should not attempt to alter or modify the rank card under any circumstances.
The AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET 2026 results have now been declared, and candidates can download their rank cards from the official portal using their registration number and hall ticket details.
