SPJIMR’s TPO Summit 2023 Facilitates Insights And Collaboration On Campus Recruitment Trends; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The TPO Summit 2023 (Mumbai Edition) was successfully held at SPJIMR on June 30, 2023. In order to examine the evolving trends of campus recruitment in India, the event gathered together a renowned group of training and placement officers from engineering and non-engineering colleges located in Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and other regions of Maharashtra.

The summit featured eminent keynote speakers and panellists who presented their knowledge and skills on new trends, best practices, and difficulties college recruitment in India is now confronting.

Aditya Birla Finance Ltd.'s Head of HR & Administration, Dr. Sujatha Sudheendra, and Aditya Birla Capital's Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Dr. Sujatha Sudheendra, gave their perspectives on "Innovative Recruitment Strategies for a Changing Talent Landscape." Dr Sudheendra said, “I admire SPJIMR's initiative in holding the TPO Summit because it showed forward-thinking.

It reaffirmed how universities and other organisations are accepting new hires to build fantastic customer-centric businesses”. SPJIMR's Director of Career Services, Mr. Bhishm Chugani, hosted a panel discussion on "Changing Trends of Campus Recruitment in India".

Expert panellists from the sector, including Suchit Shome (DBS Bank), Beena Jacob (DHL Supply Chain), Atulaya Goswami (General Mills), Shweta Srivastava (SHL), Arpita Vyas (Fractal), and Daya Sajnani (SPJIMR), discussed new trends, best practises, student mindset, attrition rate, employee retention, and difficulties the sector is currently facing.

“At the TPO Summit, the TPO and HR met to discuss how placements are vital for students' future lives and professions in addition to serving as their first job off campus. The summit effectively addressed the TPOs' issues and gave industry and academia a venue to connect and work together on opportunities for the future,” said Dr Renuka Kamath, Associate Dean, SPJIMR.
