SIMMC Pune invites applications for 2026-27 MBA and PGDM intake, with counselling and interviews for shortlisted graduates.

Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication (SIMMC), Pune has opened MBA and PGDM admission for 2026-27. The institute, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and approved by AICTE, offers a two-year full-time management programme with multiple specialisations.
Graduates from any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved categories) and a valid management entrance test score can apply. Candidates planning to take an entrance test soon may also register for counselling and personal interview (PI) in online or offline mode.
SIMMC Pune MBA/PGDM Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria
For MBA/PGDM admission 2026-27, candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50 percent marks in graduation or previous year, while 45 percent marks are required for reserved category applicants. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they can submit required documents at the time of admission.
SIMMC Pune, applicants should ideally have a valid score in entrance exams such as MH-CET, CMAT, CAT or other accepted national-level tests, as these scores are considered for GD/PI shortlisting and merit preparation. Students who have not yet taken an entrance test but plan to do so in the near future can still submit the application form and register for the selection process.
How to Apply for SIMMC Pune MBA/PGDM Programmes?
The first step for interested candidates is online registration. Students must fill the application form on the official website and upload the required details and documents as instructed.
- In Step 1, candidates complete registration and submit documents through the online form.
- In Step 2, they must register for admission counselling and personal interview by sending an SMS with their name and city to the admission helpline numbers mentioned in the notification.
After successful registration, the institute schedules counselling and PI either at the Pune campus or through video conference / phone / online mode for outstation students.
Documents Required
For Admission, Counselling and Personal Interview (PI), candidates should keep the following documents ready in photocopy form, along with two recent photographs:
- Class X and XII mark sheets
- Graduation mark sheets (final year / previous year, as applicable)
- Entrance test score card copy (MH-CET / CMAT / CAT or others, if available)
- Any other supporting academic or category documents, as required
These documents must also be produced at the time of final admission. The institute keeps the documents in its custody for verification by the Admission Regulating Authority (ARA), Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) and University authorities, a process that may take a few months to complete.
As the 2026-27 MBA/PGDM admission cycle progresses, students should regularly check the MAH CET and SIMMC official websites for any updates on CAP rounds, reporting dates and document verification instructions.
