The university has developed a rector design. According to the university, the resulting bioprocess is three to four times more rapid and economically efficient. This process will aid in transforming the waste from the biomass plant which includes toxic and hazardous weeds like Prosopis, parthenium, and lantana, into soil-friendly and plant-friendly organic fertilizers.
As per the official statement from the university which stated that “ This feature has the potential of transforming billions of tonnes of the weed biomass that is generated in the world annually and which had no utility value, into raw material for the highly fancied organic fertilizers.”
S A Abbasi and Tasneem Abbasi have received a total of 6 Patents for different green technologies development which are for the control of water pollution and treatment of sewage and solid waste.
