PM Modi to Inaugurate Five New Buildings of Hyderabad University

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Telangana on October 1, 2023. He will dedicate 'five new Hyderabad University buildings,' including the School of Economics, School of Mathematics and Statistics, School of Management Studies, Lecture Hall Complex - III, and the Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication (Annexe). 

The improvement of Hyderabad University's infrastructure is a step towards offering better facilities and amenities to students and teachers. 

PM Modi will devote to the nation and set the groundwork for several development projects totaling more than INR 13,500 crore in critical areas including road, rail, petroleum and natural gas, and higher education.

The Prime Minister will virtually engage in many programs at the University of Hyderabad during the program.

According to Kishan Reddy, the Prime Minister will arrive in Mahbubnagar about 2:15 p.m. He would set the groundwork for critical road projects associated with the Nagpur-Vijayawada Economic Corridor.

The projects include a 108 km four-lane access-controlled greenfield highway from Warangal to Khammam on NH-163G, and a comparable 90-kilometer stretch from Khammam to Vijayawada on NH-163G. The projects will cut the distance between Warangal and Khammam by 14 km and the distance between Khammam and Vijayawada by 27 km.

He will dedicate to the nation the 59 km four-lane Suryapet-Khammam stretch of NH-365BB, which will cost INR 2,460 crore and is part of the Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam Corridor being built under the Bharatmala Pariyojana. It will also provide connectivity to the Khammam district and coastal AP, Kishan Reddy explained.

Modi will dedicate the 370 km Jaklair-Krishna railway line, which would cost INR 500 crore and will put Narayanpet district on the railway map for the first time. He will use video conferencing to signal the start of the Kacheguda-Raichur train service from Krishna station. The train will travel through the districts of Rangareddy, Mahbubnagar, and Narayanpet.

The Prime Minister will dedicate the nation to the INR 2,170 crore Hassan-Cherlapalli LPG pipeline as part of his objective of enhancing logistical efficiency. He would build the groundwork for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd's (BPCL) multi-product petroleum pipeline from Krishnapatnam to Malkapur in Hyderabad.

"The pipeline will provide a safe, faster, more efficient, and environmentally friendly mode of transport for petroleum products in the region," Kishan Reddy said of the 425-kilometer network, which cost INR 1,940 crore.

The Prime Minister will also dedicate five new University of Hyderabad buildings, which will house the School of Economics, the School of Mathematics and Statistics, the School of Management Studies, the Lecture Hall Complex-III, and the Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication.

On October 3, 2023, the Prime Minister will visit Nizamabad and take part in a number of development projects. Modi plans to dedicate numerous projects in Nizamabad that have been funded with INR 8,021 crore, including the Ramagundam 800 MW power project and critical care health centres at all district government hospitals.
