More than 1 lakh students appeared for KEAM Entrance Exam 2023 admission to engineering and pharmacy courses in state colleges.

New Delhi: The Kerala Engineering Architectural Medical (KEAM) 2023 entrance exam was taken by more than 1 lakh applicants for admission to engineering and pharmacy courses in state colleges.
A statement from the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) office claims that 1,01,367 candidates took the KEAM 2023 exam at 336 locations throughout the State as well as in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Dubai.
KEAM 2023 Admit Card has been distributed to a total of 1,23,623 students.
All candidates took the required Paper 1 (physics and chemistry), which must be passed in order to be admitted to engineering and pharmacy programmes, but only 81,020 of the 96,940 engineering applicants took the required Paper 2 (mathematics). Candidates for engineering admission are required to appear in both the exams.
For the exam that started at 10 AM, students started arriving at their examination venues as early as 8.30 AM..
The exam went over without any hitch, with a few reports of annoyance for parents waiting outside the testing locations in the scorching heat.
