NSOU has extended the registration deadline for FYUG UG programmes and for most PG and BLIS courses for the 2026-27 academic year. Candidates can apply online at ug.wbnsouadmissions.com and pg.wbnsouadmissions.com with a fee of Rs 275.

NSOU Admission 2026-27 Deadline Extended for UG PG BLIS

The Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) has extended the 2026-27 admission schedule. The revised timeline covers online application submission, document uploading, application review, fee payment and the printing of provisional enrollment certificates and SLM tokens.

The extension covers Four Year Undergraduate (FYUG) programmes, most Postgraduate (PG) courses and the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) programme. Candidates can apply through ug.wbnsouadmissions.com and pg.wbnsouadmissions.com.

PG Zoology (PGZO), PG Geography (PGGR) and PG Environmental Science (PGES) are excluded from the extended admission window. Applicants must pay a processing fee of Rs 275.

Which Programmes Are Covered Under the Extension?

The FYUG stream offers a four-year undergraduate degree across multiple disciplines. Students can earn a UGC-compliant honours or research degree at exit.

The PG admission extension covers most postgraduate disciplines offered by NSOU. However, PG Zoology, PG Geography and PG Environmental Science are not included.

The BLIS programme prepares candidates for careers in library and information services. NSOU offers these programmes through the Open and Distance Learning mode, benefiting working students and learners across West Bengal.

How to Apply for NSOU 2026-27 Admission?

Candidates must complete the admission process through the official portals. The steps are as follows:

  1. Visit ug.wbnsouadmissions.com for FYUG programmes or pg.wbnsouadmissions.com for PG and BLIS programmes.
  2. Complete new user registration using a valid mobile number and email address.
  3. Enter the required personal, academic and programme-choice details.
  4. Submit the online application form by September 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
  5. Upload the required marksheets, photograph, signature and identity proof by September 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
  6. Re-send the application for review, if required, by September 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
  7. Pay the admission fee through the online payment gateway or Bank Challan by September 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
  8. Save the confirmation slip and payment receipt for future reference.

NSOU 2026-27 Application Fee and Payment

The processing fee for the application is Rs 275. Candidates can submit the fee through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. The fee can also be paid through Bank Challan during banking hours.

The online and offline fee submission deadline is September 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM. After completing the process, candidates can print the Provisional ENROLLMENT Certificate and TOKEN of SLMs between October 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM and October 12, 2026, at 9:00 PM.
