NIFT 2026 Spot Round Result Out at nift.admissions.nic.in; Pay Fee by July 27 Midnight

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has declared the Spot Round result. The seat allotment is live at nift.admissions.nic.in. It covers NIFT 2026 UG, UG Lateral and PG counselling.

Allotted candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee by July 27 midnight. Physical reporting at the allotted campus is on July 29, 2026. Missing either deadline will lead to loss of the seat.

The Spot Round is the last counselling stage of NIFT 2026. It is used to fill seats left vacant after Round 1 and Round 2. Fresh merit list candidates and earlier non-joiners can both take part.

Who Can Take Part in the Spot Round?

The Spot Round is open to candidates registered for NIFT 2026 counselling. It includes those who were allotted seats earlier but did not join. Fresh merit list candidates who missed earlier rounds can also apply.

Registered candidates who withdrew in earlier rounds are not eligible. Only candidates with an active application on the counselling portal can view a Spot Round allotment.

How to Check the NIFT 2026 Spot Round Result?

The result is available on the official counselling portal. Candidates should follow the steps below.

1. Visit the official portal at nift.admissions.nic.in.
2. Click on the NIFT 2026 Spot Round result link.
3. Log in with the application number and password.
4. Check the allotted campus and programme on screen.
5. Download and save the seat allotment letter.

How to Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee?

Fee payment locks in the allotted seat and enables physical reporting. The full amount must be paid before midnight on July 27, 2026.

1. Log in to the counselling portal with your credentials.
2. Open the Seat Acceptance Fee link on the dashboard.
3. Verify the fee amount and allotment details on screen.
4. Pay via net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
5. Save the payment receipt and confirmation message for records.

Candidates must carry a full document set to the allotted campus. Any missing paper can delay or cancel the admission.
