The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially rescheduled the NEET SS 2025 exam, which was earlier planned for November 7 and 8. The exam will now be held on December 26 and 27, 2025, for admission to DM, M.Ch, and DNB Super Speciality courses across India.

As per the latest update, the information bulletin will be released soon on the official NBEMS website – natboard.edu.in. The registration process is likely to begin in the fourth week of October 2025.

NEET SS 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To appear for NEET SS 2025, candidates must possess a Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD, MS, or DNB) from a recognized institution. The qualification should match the feeder speciality of the course they intend to apply for.

Applicants are also required to hold a valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council, and there is no upper age limit prescribed for the exam.

NEET SS 2025 Application Process

Candidates can register for NEET SS 2025 on the official NBEMS website once the application window opens. Steps to Apply:

1. Visit natboard.edu.in and select the NEET SS 2025 link.
2. Complete the registration using a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Fill in academic, personal, and qualification details.
4. Upload scanned copies of photographs, signatures, and relevant documents.
5. Pay the required application fee online and submit the form.
6. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Before completing the registration, candidates must keep essential documents ready, including MBBS and postgraduate degree certificates, medical registration proof, internship completion certificate, valid photo ID, and recent passport-size photographs with a scanned signature.

Admission to DM, M.Ch, and DNB Super Speciality programs will be granted based on NEET SS 2025 scores, followed by centralized counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Seat allocation will depend on the candidate’s rank, course preference, and seat availability. After results are announced in January 2026, shortlisted candidates will have to participate in document verification and counselling, the details of which will be released on the official MCC website.
