MCC Releases NEET PG Counselling 2025 Schedule; Round 1 Seat Allotment on November 8

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the full schedule for NEET PG Counselling 2025 on its website, mcc.nic.in. The process will be conducted in four rounds - Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round - for admission to postgraduate medical programmes (MD, MS, and PG Diploma) across India.

The Round 1 registration and choice filling are already open and will continue till November 5, 2025. The counselling is being conducted for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, along with 100% seats of Deemed, Central Universities, and AFMS institutions for the academic year 2025–26.

According to the schedule, Candidates can fill and lock their choices from October 28 to November 5, 2025. The seat allotment process will take place from November 6 to 7, followed by the Round 1 seat allotment result announcement on November 8, 2025.

Once the results are declared, selected candidates must report or join their allotted colleges between November 9 and November 15, 2025. The verification of joined candidates by the respective institutes will be held from November 16 to November 18, 2025.

Schedule for NEET PG Counselling 2025

The MCC has released the detailed schedule for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2025. Candidates can check the complete timeline for registration, choice filling, result announcement, and reporting below.

Following the completion of Round 1, the Round 2 counselling will commence on November 18, 2025, with registration and choice filling open till November 24, 2025. The Round 2 seat allotment results will be published on November 25, 2025, followed by the reporting window from November 27 to December 4, 2025.

The Mop-Up Round is scheduled to begin on December 8, 2025, and the final Stray Vacancy Round will start on December 29, 2025, allowing institutions to fill remaining seats based on merit and availability.
