NTA has announced major changes in the NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam pattern. The total number of questions has been reduced. Exam duration has also been shortened. See full details below.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Exam Pattern Changed

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially revised the exam pattern for the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) 2026, a key national-level test for admission into undergraduate hospitality programmes, including B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration.

Under the updated structure, the total number of questions in the entrance test has been reduced, and the duration of the examination has been shortened to better align with current assessment objectives. The NCHMCT JEE new pattern also reflects adjustments in sectional weightage and timing, underscoring the importance for aspirants to review these changes ahead of preparation.

Key Changes in NCHMCT JEE 2026

  • Mode of Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT) – same as before
  • Pattern of Exam: Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions – unchanged
  • Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours) – earlier it was 3 hours
  • Exam Timing: 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM – changed from the previous schedule
