NCHMCT has released the tentative schedule for NCHM JEE 2026, with registration expected to start in December 2025 and the exam likely to be held in April 2026.

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has released the tentative schedule for the NCHM Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2026. According to the notification, online registration for NCHM JEE is expected to commence in the second week of December 2025, while the entrance examination is tentatively scheduled for the second week of April 2026.

NCHMCT oversees the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) programme, which is offered through its network of Central IHMs, State IHMs, Private IHMs, and PPP-model IHMs across India. The degree is awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.
The eligibility for the programme requires a 10+2 pass with English as a compulsory subject. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination may apply provisionally, subject to submitting proof of eligibility by 30 September of the admission year. There is no upper age limit for applicants.

Admissions are based on the All India Rank secured in NCHM JEE, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam consists of five sections: Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Knowledge, English Language, and Aptitude for the Service Sector, carrying a total of 120 marks. After the exam, counselling and seat allotment will be conducted online through www.nchmcounselling.nic.in.
