MP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Merit List Released at dme.mponline.gov.in; Check Choice Filling Dates

The Directorate of Medical Education Madhya Pradesh (DME MP) has released the MP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 State Merit List. The merit list is now live on the official portal at dme.mponline.gov.in.

The merit list is for MBBS and BDS admissions in Madhya Pradesh. It applies to state quota seats in government and private colleges. Only candidates who completed the recent registration can find their names in the merit list.

Choice filling opens on August 15, 2026 for all listed candidates. The choice filling and locking window closes on August 18, 2026 at the end of the day. The Round 1 seat allotment result will follow on August 20, 2026.

Who Can Participate in MP NEET UG 2026 Counselling?

Only candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 are eligible for MP counselling. They must also hold a valid Madhya Pradesh domicile as proof. Registration on the DME MP portal was mandatory before this stage.

Candidates without state domicile can compete only for open state seats. All India Quota (AIQ) seats fall under a separate MCC-led counselling process. The national counselling is conducted through the mcc.nic.in portal.

Candidates can follow the steps below to open the Round 1 merit list PDF:

1. Visit the DME MP counselling portal at dme.mponline.gov.in.
2. Click on the NEET UG 2026 counselling section link.
3. Open the Round 1 State Merit List PDF.
4. Use the search tool to locate your NEET UG roll number.
5. Note down your state merit rank for reference.

How to Fill Choices for MP NEET UG 2026 Round 1?

Choice filling is one of the most crucial stages of state counselling. The final seat allotment depends on the candidate's rank, locked choices, and seat availability. Candidates must plan their preference list carefully before opening the portal.

1. Log in to the DME MP portal using registered credentials.
2. Open the choice filling module from August 15, 2026.
3. Select preferred colleges and courses in strict priority order.
4. Rearrange the list to reflect your true preference sequence.
5. Lock all choices before August 18, 2026.

Unlocked choices are auto-locked when the window closes. Candidates must download and save the choice filling receipt for future reference.

MP NEET UG 2026 Counselling Fee and Documents

The counselling registration fee was Rs 1,000 for unreserved candidates. Reserved category candidates paid Rs 500 during registration. This fee does not cover any college-level security deposit or tuition fee.

Allotted candidates must carry the required documents during the reporting stage. These include the NEET UG 2026 scorecard and admit card, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, and a valid Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate.

A category certificate is required wherever applicable. Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar.
