MP NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Schedule Out; Apply By December 17 @dme.mponline.gov.in

MP NEET PG Round 2 Counselling 2025 is conducted by the Department of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh. It is held for admission to MD, MS, and Diploma courses in government and private medical colleges of the state.

Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 or who wish to upgrade their allotted seat can participate in this round. Newly registered candidates can also apply as per the official dates, but already registered candidates can not register again.

The MP NEET PG Round 2 Counselling 2025 begins with registration for new candidates from December 15 to December 17 2025, until 11:59 PM.

The edit facility for all registered students, except those already admitted in Round 1, is available on December 16-17 2025. The revised merit list and the list of eligible candidates, along with the vacancy details, will be published on 18 December 2025, followed by the objection window for vacancies from December 18-19 2025, until 2:00 PM. Final vacancies will be released on December 19 2025.

Fresh choice filling and compulsory choice locking for all candidates, including those seeking upgradation, will take place from 20 to 22 December 2025 until 11:59 PM.

The Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on December 24 2025, and students must report in person to their allotted colleges for document verification and admission from 25 to December 29 2025, until 6:00 PM. During the same period, from December 25-29 2025 (up to midnight), admitted candidates may submit their willingness for upgradation to the Mop-Up round. Students also have the option to resign or cancel their admission online at the college level from December 25-29 2025, until 5:00 PM.

MP NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

A candidate can participate in MP NEET PG counselling with the following conditions:

1. The candidate must have qualified for NEET PG 2025 with the required cutoff marks.

2. The candidate must have an MBBS degree from a recognised medical college.

3. The candidate must have completed or be completing the mandatory internship by the stated deadline.

4. The candidate must be registered with the Medical Council of India (NMC) or the State Medical Council.

5. Only new candidates can register in Round 2. Candidates already registered in Round 1 do not need to register again.

6. Candidates who already taken admission in Round 1 can also participate in seat upgradation.

MP NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Selection Process

The MP NEET PG Round 2 selection process includes the following steps:

1. Registration and editing of details by eligible candidates.

2. Publication of the revised merit list and vacancy list for Round 2.

3. Submission of objections (if any) on vacancies and release of the final vacancy list.

4. Candidates fill fresh choices and lock them using an OTP. Choice locking is compulsory for all candidates, including those seeking upgradation.

5. Seats are allotted based on NEET PG rank, reservation rules, preference order, and seat availability.

6. Candidates must report to the allotted college for document verification and admission.

7. Candidates can give their willingness for upgradation for the Mop-Up round during the reporting period.

8. College-level online resignation is also allowed within the mentioned dates.

MP NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling-How to Apply?

1. Visit the official website: DME MP NEET PG counselling portal.

2. Click on New Registration (only for those eligible for Round 2).

3. Fill in basic details such as name, NEET PG roll number, rank, and contact information.

4. Upload the required documents like NEET PG scorecard, MBBS certificate, internship certificate, ID proof, etc.

5. Pay the application fee online.

6. After the merit list and vacancy list are released, log in again for choice filling.

7. Select preferred colleges and courses, then lock choices with OTP.

8. Check the Round 2 allotment result on the given date.

9. Report to the allotted college with original documents for admission.
