MICA Ahmedabad has opened applications for its flagship PGDM and PGDM-C programs for the 2026 batch. Interested candidates can now apply online through the official MICA website until January 21, 2025.
Admission will be based on MICAT 1, MICAT 2, and GE-PI rounds, ensuring a holistic evaluation of creative and analytical skills.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for MICA Ahmedabad?
To be eligible for admission to MICA Ahmedabad’s PGDM and PGDM-C programs for the 2026 batch, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline from a university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). A minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in graduation is required to apply.
Students who are currently in the final year of their graduation are also eligible, provided they can produce a certificate from their respective institutions confirming that all degree requirements will be completed by June 30, 2026, and final mark sheets will be submitted by December 31, 2026.
Additionally, all applicants must have appeared, or plan to appear, in one of the national-level management entrance exams such as CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or GMAT (2024 onwards), along with the MICAT, which is mandatory for shortlisting at MICA.

How to Register for MICA Ahmedabad MBA Programs 2026 Batch?
Candidates can apply online through the official MICA Ahmedabad admissions or MICAT registration portal. The entire process is conducted digitally, and applicants must ensure accuracy while filling the form.
- Visit the official MICA admissions or MICAT registration portal.
- Register with name, mobile number, and email ( get login credentials).
- Fill in personal, academic, and professional details.
- Choose programme(s) (PGDM / PGDM-C) and preferred exam / interview cities.
- Upload photo, signature, academic documents.
- Enter valid CAT / XAT / GMAT scores (if available).
- Pay application fee for the desired phase(s).
- Review and submit; download the confirmation receipt for record.
No correction facility is usually provided after final submission, so verify all details carefully before hitting submit.
MICA Ahmedabad MBA Programs 2026 Batch Selection Process
Applicants must keep certain documents ready while filling out the MICA Ahmedabad PGDM and PGDM-C application form. These include a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and academic mark sheets of Class 10, Class 12, and all semesters of graduation.
Candidates currently in their final year must upload a certificate issued by their college principal or registrar confirming that they will complete degree requirements by June 30, 2026.
Additionally, valid CAT, XAT, or GMAT scorecards are required, along with relevant category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and a PwD certificate, if applicable.
The application fee is ₹2,100 (non-refundable) per phase for a single programme. Candidates applying to multiple programmes such as PGDM and PGDM-C may have to pay an additional fee as specified by the institute.
The selection process for admission to MICA’s PGDM and PGDM-C programmes is conducted in multiple stages.
Candidates are evaluated based on their performance in CAT, XAT, or GMAT, followed by MICAT, and subsequently, shortlisted candidates are invited for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds held across major cities. The final merit list is prepared using a composite scoring formula that considers performance across all stages.
Typically, the weightage distribution is as follows, CAT/XAT/GMAT: 35%, MICAT: 25%, PI: 20%, GE: 10%, and academics (Class 10, 12, Graduation): 5%, with an additional 5% for extracurricular achievements, diversity, or sports participation.
