MCC NEET PG round 1 and 2 Resignation Window Opens

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun the online resignation facility for candidates who secured seats in Round 1 and Round 2 of the NEET PG 2025 counselling. This special window was created following numerous requests from students who wish to vacate their current seats to participate in upcoming rounds or join state-allotted colleges.

Candidates should note that resigning during this period will lead to the forfeiture of their security deposit. The seats vacated during this process will be added to the seat matrix for Round 3, providing more opportunities for other aspirants.

MCC NEET PG Rounds 1 & 2 Resignation Facility-How to Resign? 

To ensure the resignation is valid and recognized by the MCC, candidates must follow these specific steps:

  1. Physical Reporting: The candidate must physically visit the medical college where they are currently admitted.
  2. Submit Request: They must submit a formal resignation application to the college authorities.
  3. Online Generation of Letter: The allotted college must generate the Resignation Letter online through the official MCC portal.
  4. Verification: Candidates must ensure they receive the system-generated resignation letter. Any resignation done manually or without the online portal generation will be treated as 'Null & Void'.
  5. Forfeiture: Be aware that the security deposit paid during registration will not be refunded upon resignation.
