New Delhi: The week-long festivities of Mahindra University (MU)'s annual fests, Airo and Aether, have just wound up. Both fests were conducted from February 14, 2024 to February 18, 2024.
The fest saw many enthusiastic participants from institutes like BITS Pilani, Hyderabad and Vignan Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM). The management team of Mahindra University works alongside student clubs and organizers to make both events massively successful each year.
About Airo
Airo is MU’s annual sports fest that features team sports like football, individual sports like snooker and table tennis, and even e-sports and online gaming. This year, Airo’s football matches took place on Mahindra University’s new, FIFA-certified football field.
In Airo 2024, MU teams emerged victorious in men’s and women’s basketball, powerlifting, and kho-kho. Students from BITS Pilani Hyderabad also clinched quite a few victories in categories like chess and football.
About Aether
Aether is Mahindra University’s annual cultural fest. Aether’s unique activities roster includes entertaining competitions like ‘GUESS – Real or Fake News,’ a media literacy challenge, and ‘IdeaStorm’, a marathon for budding entrepreneurs. Immersive experiences like VR Exploration, movie marathons, and concerts from the band Threeory and DJ Lost/Stories meant constant fun for those who were at Aether 2024.
Intercollegiate fests like Airo and Aether foster necessary skills like teamwork and problem-solving among students. They are also an opportunity for students to have fun and build lifelong friendships.
