MAH BEd CET CAP 2026 Option Form Filling Closes Today; First Allotment on September 4

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has issued an urgent alert. The Cell governs MAH B.Ed CET admissions across Maharashtra. The CAP Round 1 and Round 2 college option form closes today, September 1, 2026. Shortlisted candidates must submit choices at bedcap26.mahacet.org by end of day. The first provisional allotment list releases on September 4, 2026.

The option form filled before Round 1 applies to both rounds. Round 2 uses the same choices unless the candidate opts for betterment. Only candidates on the final CAP merit list can submit options.

How to Fill the MAH BEd CET Option Form Today?

The choice-filling process is straightforward on the official CAP portal. Candidates should keep their login credentials ready before starting. The form allows preference-based ranking of colleges and courses.

1. Visit the official CAP portal at bedcap26.mahacet.org.
2. Log in using your application number and password.
3. Open the College Option Form section on your dashboard.
4. Search and select eligible B.Ed colleges by preference.
5. Arrange your choices in strict order of priority.
6. Review, confirm, and lock the option form before the deadline.

Who Is Eligible to Fill the Option Form?

Only candidates listed on the final CAP merit list can apply. The CET Cell released this list on August 10, 2026. Those who missed the August 6 objection window cannot make late corrections now.

Candidates must also confirm document verification is complete. Any pending status may block choice submission on the portal.

What Happens After the First Allotment on September 4?

Allotted candidates must accept the seat within the reporting window. Options include Freeze, Slide, or Float, depending on the preference. Freeze locks the seat, while Slide and Float allow upward movement in Round 2.

Candidates who reject the seat or skip reporting drop out of CAP Round 1. They may still be considered for Round 2 based on merit and vacancy.
