The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) has released the IAT 2026 Round 7 seat allotment result. The result is available on the official portal at iiseradmission.in. Candidates can now log in to check their allotted institute and programme.

The last date to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee is September 3, 2026. Candidates who miss this deadline will lose the allotted seat and their claim in the ongoing admission process.

How to Check the IISER Round 7 Seat Allotment Result?

The result can be accessed through the candidate login portal. Follow the steps given below to check the allotment:

1. Visit the official portal at iiseradmission.in.
2. Click the Round 7 seat allotment login link on the homepage.
3. Enter your Application Number and Password on the login page.
4. View the allotted institute and programme on the dashboard.
5. Download the provisional admission offer letter for your records.

What Are the Freeze and Float Options?

Allotted candidates must select one option on the dashboard before paying the Seat Acceptance Fee. Each option determines what happens in the subsequent counselling rounds.

• Freeze: The candidate accepts the current allotment as final. No further upgrade will be considered in future rounds.
• Accept and Float: The candidate accepts the allotted seat but remains in the upgrade pool. A better institute or programme may be offered in a later round.

How to Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee?

The Seat Acceptance Fee must be paid online through the candidate dashboard. Only a successful payment completed before the deadline will confirm the allotted seat.

1. Log in to your account on the IISER admission portal.
2. Select either Freeze or Accept and Float against the allotted seat.
3. Proceed to the online payment gateway available on the dashboard.
4. Complete the payment using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
5. Save the payment receipt and updated offer letter for future reference.
