MAH B.Des CET CAP 2026 registration deadline stands extended till July 23 at bdesign2026.mahacet.org. The provisional merit list will now be released on July 25, 2026. Document verification closes on July 24.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CETCELL), Maharashtra has extended the online registration deadline for the Maharashtra Bachelor of Design Common Entrance Test (MAH B.Des CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026. Candidates can now complete the registration on the official portal, bdesign2026.mahacet.org, till July 23, 2026, by 5 PM.
Along with the registration extension, CETCELL has revised the merit list schedule. The provisional merit list will now be released on July 25, 2026, on the same official portal. The grievance submission window will remain open from July 26 to July 28, 2026.
The document verification window for registered candidates will remain open till July 24, 2026, by 5 PM. Candidates can complete the verification process through E-Scrutiny (online verification) or Physical Scrutiny at selected facilitation centres. The final merit list is scheduled to be released on July 30, 2026.

MAH B.Des CET CAP 2026 Allotment Round Schedule
CETCELL has released the complete schedule for the four CAP allotment rounds. Candidates included in the final merit list must participate in these rounds to obtain seat allotment.
The detailed schedule is provided below:

The institute-level admission process will be conducted from August 4 to September 5, 2026.
The final cutoff date for all admissions is September 15, 2026, at 5 PM. Candidates can cancel their allotted seats and receive a full fee refund only till September 13, 2026.
How to Complete MAH B.Des CET CAP 2026 Registration?
Eligible candidates can complete the MAH B.Des CET CAP 2026 registration through the official portal. The registration process must be completed before the deadline of July 23, 2026, at 5 PM.
- Visit the official CAP portal at bdesign2026.mahacet.org.
- Click on the New Candidate Registration link available on the homepage.
- Enter the required personal, academic, and MAH B.Des CET 2026 score details.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format and file size.
- Pay the application fee online using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
- Submit the application form and select the preferred mode of document verification.

What Should Candidates Do for Document Verification?
After completing the registration process, candidates must get their uploaded documents verified. The document verification process must be completed by July 24, 2026, at 5 PM to be considered for the provisional merit list.
Candidates can select E-Scrutiny for a completely online document verification process.
Alternatively, candidates can opt for Physical Scrutiny at a listed facilitation centre in Maharashtra. Both verification modes are considered equally valid for participation in the MAH B.Des CET CAP 2026 counselling process.
What If a Candidate Has a Grievance on the Merit List?
Candidates who notice an error or discrepancy in the provisional merit list can submit a grievance through the official portal.
The grievance submission window will remain open from July 26 to July 28, 2026, till 5 PM. Candidates must submit their requests through the same official CAP portal.
All valid grievances will be reviewed and addressed before the publication of the final merit list.
The MAH B.Des CET CAP 2026 final merit list will be released on July 30, 2026. Only candidates included in the final merit list will be eligible to fill the option form for CAP Round I.

Why This Extension Matters
The extension gives late applicants an extra window without shifting the CAP round schedule. Round I option form filling still begins on July 31, 2026. Candidates who register now must complete verification within 24 hours of applying.
