MAH 5-Year LLB CAP 2026 Round 2 Option Form Filling Begins; Allotment on August 28

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has opened the Round 2 option form filling window for the Maharashtra 5-Year Integrated Law (LLB) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 on the official portal at llb5cap26.mahacet.org. Registered candidates can now log in and lock their college preferences for the second CAP round.

As per the official schedule notified by the CET Cell, the provisional seat allotment for Round 2 will be released on August 28, 2026. Candidates who secure a seat must then accept the allotment online and complete reporting formalities within the notified window.

The MAH 5-Year LLB CAP is the state-level counselling that allocates seats in five-year integrated law programmes such as BA LLB and BBA LLB. It covers government, government-aided, university-managed and unaided private law colleges across Maharashtra.

Who Can Fill the Round 2 Option Form?

The Round 2 window is open to candidates who registered for MAH 5-Year LLB CAP 2026 and whose applications were confirmed after document verification. Candidates who did not secure a seat in Round 1 can participate in Round 2.

Those allotted a seat in Round 1 but who opted for a better choice, or who did not accept the seat, can also take part. Participation rules are subject to the official information brochure of the CET Cell.

How to Fill the MAH 5-Year LLB CAP 2026 Round 2 Option Form?

Candidates must log in to the official portal and submit a confirmed choice list before the deadline. The step-by-step process is as follows:

1. Visit the official portal at llb5cap26.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the candidate login link on the home page.
3. Enter your application number and password to sign in.
4. Open the Round 2 option form section from the dashboard.
5. Add preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
6. Review the choice list to confirm the correct order.
7. Click on the confirm and lock option to submit finally.
8. Download the saved option form for future reference.

Option forms that are not confirmed before the deadline will not be considered for Round 2 seat allotment.

What Happens After the August 28 Allotment?

Once the provisional allotment list goes live on August 28, 2026, candidates can view their allotted college and course by logging in. Those who receive a seat must accept the allotment online within the notified window.

The next step is to report to the allotted institute with original documents and pay the admission fee. Candidates who do not receive a seat in Round 2 may become eligible for the next CAP stage or the institute-level round, based on seat availability.
