The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has announced the Special Stray Vacancy Allotment process for MBBS/BDS courses.Eligible candidates included in the Kerala State Medical Rank List have an opportunity to secure these seats by participating in the online option registration process. The registration process ends at 2 PM on November 27, 2024.

Eligibility for Special Stray Vacancy Allotment
- Only candidates included in the Kerala State Medical Rank List published by the CEE can participate.
- Candidates already admitted or allotted seats in previous rounds (Phases I, II, III, or Stray Vacancy Phase) are NOT eligible.
- Candidates who vacated seats after October 15, 2024, 2:00 PM are NOT eligible.
- Candidates allotted seats in the Special Stray Round of AIQ Counselling (MCC) are NOT eligible.
- Once allotted, the seat cannot be changed.
Registration Fee
- Government MBBS/BDS Seats Only: ₹10,000/-
- Government + Self-Financing Seats: ₹50,000/-
- SC/ST/OEC Candidates & Special Categories: ₹5,000/- (with conditions).
- Candidates must pay the fee online or through specified Head Post Offices.
- Registration fees are either adjusted with tuition fees or refunded (if not allotted), except for candidates who fail to join or vacate allotted seats.
Penalties for Non-Compliance
- Candidates who fail to join allotted courses/colleges or vacate their seats will be penalized:
- ₹10,00,000 for MBBS.
- ₹5,00,000 for BDS.
- Such candidates will also face a two-year ban from CEE exams and allotments.
Additional Information
- Vacancies after this round will be filled through a Second Phase Special Stray Vacancy Allotment, considering registered options from this phase.
- Unnecessary option registrations without admissions will attract penalties, including fines and debarment.
